i would proably do the same thing if it was me in his shoes. i cant say i dont blame him, who wants to waste away and suffer in the end. i would do the same. everyone has to do what they think is best for their life or end of their life. brave man to do what he did. he is at rest now, amen

As a proponent of assisted suicide, I'm completely sympathetic to anybody who's terminally ill and chooses to end his or her own life. However, I think it's sad that he didn't make it possible for his family to at least have a proper funeral for him...unless he knew it wasn't what they would have wanted.
8. He was a very heavy smoker,,,,,,dont smoke!!!!
Anon.   (08.09.11)
Never the less very sad that he died so young.
9. It doesn't sound as though he told his family...
wondering outloud   (08.10.11)
I truly do not want to be unkind. I am sorry that he suffered and died so young. Nonetheless, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this. It sounds, by the article, as though he did not tell his family, let them say good-bye, or try to give peace to anyone but himself. It 'feels' uncomfortably selfish to me...am I missing something or being unfair?
10. no 9
(08.10.11)
you are being unfair, dont pretend to judge or know what went on in his family life, not married no kids left behind, he said he hada very lonely life on this planet, leave him alone and dont second guess him or his life on this, he knew and G-d knows also, it is not for you to know. he came to this earth to do what he did and now his time he felt was up, so he decided when to go home. i dont blame him. it is not for us to know.
