When you think about it, it makes total sense. Hezbo backed the protesters when the government was perceived as pro-Western. But when the government was anti-Western (i.e. Iran, Syria) they backed the government. Proving beyond a shadow of doubt, a double standard exists. Hezbo doesn't give a hoot about the people (i.e. using human shields as an illegal battle tactic), they only care about their politics. Hezbo cares more about killing and destroying their enemies than the lives of their people, this is proof positive. The same is true of the world, we see a glaring double standard with how the world and the UN react when it's Arab vs Arab/Muslim vs Muslim, or if it's Israel vs Arabs (i.e. Pals in Gaza, Hezbo in Lebanon). I was watching the news this morning and literally, just watched story about the famine in Somalia. Over the last 3 months it stated that 10's of thousands have died of famine (according to a UN report). Even the newscaster seemed stunned when he said "the last 3 months". But who is blocking the food from getting into the country and to the people, it's the Muslims of course. But how many have heard much about this? Just another double standard.

I never saw a polished turd but, I have seen Alaska tourists actually buying moose turds as souvenirs. Some folks will buy anything , like say, the Lebanese and all arabs. One reason they have nothing but oil, that the rich enjoy the spoils, while their sub poverty subjects are dying from lack of democracy, abject poverty, hunger, state run brutality in the streets.
