Israel has one of the most respected justice systems in the world. So your comments are silly, false and simplistic. The fact is if one of the defense witnesses was forced to change his testimony, and politics played and important role in that, of course there should be a retrial. Colonel Virob stated the "acts were reasonable" under the circumstances. Then after that caused a political uproar, the Colonel changed his testimony. If that isn't grounds for a retrial I don't what is?
Based on the facts in this article the same would have happened here in the USA. The funnier aspect of this, of course is that the Palestinians have really no legal system in place. Never has a Palestinian been tried in a Palestinian court for slapping an Israeli, or even killing one that I'm aware of.
But they do Name streets, glorify, and consider the mother of a suicide bomber an honorary person, deserving of great respect. Children's cartoons show suicide bombers in a positive light, and something to aspire to. So your criticism of the of the Israeli justice system doesn't pass the laugh test.
