1. Outside Controlled
Mary Snow ,   USA   (08.11.11)
Sounds like this is more of a foreign controlled and financed protest. Don't these guys protesting work? A investigation is needed.
2. Foreign Interferance
Mary Snow ,   USA   (08.11.11)
Foreign governments and foreign organizations are undoubtably involved in these protests. It doesn't take a scientist or PhD to figure that out. I support more housing if it does not affect defense and building is allow to occur in Judea and Samaria, and if it does not cause the housing bubble to burst. But I do not support foreign intervention in order to overthrow a democratically elected government. A investigation needs to be done by the media and by the government to look into the funding of these organizations that are doing most of the protesting. These protests are not cheap someone or some foreign entity must be paying for this.
3. Demand demand , but what are they demanding?
Rebecca Johnstone ,   Modiin   (08.11.11)
These protesters are demented. They demand answers, but they dont know what they want to ask. They demand action, but they're not sure on what. They want things done, but they're not prepared to talk to those who can do something. There are good reasons for this protest, but the protesters don't know what those reasons are.
4. Go talk to the people of Holon

6. #1 and #2
Yonatan ,   TLV, Israel   (08.11.11)
Please stop with this. Come and live in Israel and you will understand the legitimacy of the social justice movement going on.
7. Minister Katz came unprepared.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.11.11)
The higher the rank, the less contact a politician has with the rank and file. Katz didn't have answers to give because he came unprepared. And even if he did gave an answer, there would be another minster somewhere who would contradict him soon thereafter. It is amazing that in a small country like Israel there is so little in common between the voter and his political representative. Blame the party system for it in which the voter does not elect his representative directly. Our system here is better; I get an invitation to meet with my representative -- various representatives -- almost every week. When I talk, they listen, and are prepared afterward, unlike MK Katz.
8. Nonsense
bOB ,   Yerushalayim   (08.11.11)
These "protesters" don't want solutions, they don't want negotiations, they don't want dialogue, they're just following orders to disrupt and try to bring down a government that the Europeans are not happy with
9. Where were you when the Gov't threw out over 10,000 from G.K
Norman   (08.11.11)
Where were you when the Gov't threw out over 10,000 from Gush Katif ?? Do you only scream when you are hurt but when your neighbour is thrown out and made homeless is that no concern ??? Maybe this is a wakeup call from the almighty that we should start thinking about others and repent for our staying silent when our brothers and sisters were thrown out like dogs from their houses and made homeless.
10. bunch of thugs
yoni ,   tel aviv   (08.11.11)

11. This is NOT what was reported by Channel 2 News tonight!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (08.11.11)
Someone has got their story wrong. We saw Minister Katz sitting and talking to people who were demonstrating. According to Channel 2 News, the Minister sat their for hours with his senior officials of the Department of Transport. There was a yelling match between some other protesters. This possibly the one incident that Moran Azulay of YnetNews. What Minister Katz MUST be asked is why the train line to Karmiel will only be in operation in 2016 and why it takes 6 years to build a 21 Km railway line when the same Chinese workers who built the rail network in China fopr the Olympic Games took only 4 years to build a complete system. Anyone with a modicum of sense know that the housing crises will take years to solve and the only solution is for people to live in the periphery and work where there are jobs. The only way this would be possible is by expanding the rail service to the north so making it easier for people to get to work with traffic jams.
12. #3: Now you are Rebecca Johnstone and not Rivkah
David ,   Israeli   (08.11.11)
We all know who you are and the hatred you spew but I would suggest you take off your blinkers and take a good look around as to how the country is being ruined by religious fanatics and their hatred who will do anything to keep Bibi in power so they can bleed us dry!
13. Achinoam Nini & Far Left hijacking it
ProtestTurningLeft ,   Jerusalem Israel   (08.11.11)
