They are not even suing for murder or pain brought on from trauma; they are suing for confiscation of their property by the country they were legal citizens of, who paid taxes and served in the army of that country for years. In any other country the government would either return the property or pay restitution. No. 2, Palestinians were not citizens of any organized country at the time. The Jews and Arabs living in this area were in the same situation; neither had an official country. Though both were promised the same land by Britain, and the UN offered a small part to both, Israel agreed to accept the compromise. Why? Because Israel needed it more. It wasn't about pride; it was about finding a place for the remaining Jews to live. No. 2, maybe the Jews' motivation was stronger, and maybe that is what really ticks you and all the other Palestinians off.

just yesterday i read an article in "der standard" about the banker family ephrussi from vienna. they lost everything in exchange of the permission to emigrate. after the end of the war they received a 10 000 dollars of compensation and had to sign that they had no additional claims. today the great-and grandchildren of the nazis still live in the houses and apartements robbed from the jews which were murdered. many wonderful historic buildings were never claimed back and are now owned by banks and insurances.

just an example--before 1938 over 50% of all doctors in vienna were jewish. jews contributed immensely to the wealth and culture in austria, i wouldnt even know where to start with the list of the prominent austria jews. and even today's small jewish community of austria contributes a lot in terms of culture, medicine, economics.
