Good luck to EL AL. I fly many airlines and I prefer El Al. I feel like I am home on board. I find the food great, the staff friendly, security second to none and over all experience great.

Actually, El Al has improved a lot in the last number of years. I can honestly say that it is better than the number one ranked airline in North America, which is Air Canada.
As for delays, it is standard that El Al is late due to security. El Al does not let anyone in the public domain know when the plane leaves etc. Safest airline out there!!

I flew EL AL my first visit- 1991 the Milk and Honey Tour. So nice. After, I began flying to save money. Last time, Delta was my airline carrier. Terrible terrible terrible. NEVER AGAIN. EL AL CHAI!

I fly EL AL to and from Israel at least half a dozen times per year. They are by far the best airline. If they are late into/out of London, it's because every plane in and out of London is late! Their security is by far the most intelligent; in flight entertainment good and food not too bad, considering. I just flew on Continental - an awful experience and BA has priced itself out of the market. It would be EL AL for me every time. In fact, I just nominated EL AL in the Daily Telegraph travel poll for best airline.

Perhaps if you require airline personnel to fawn over you like a spoiled child, El Al may not be the airline for you. However, if you don't relish the thought of being felt up in public by a total stranger in order to pass the security check, you shouldn't even consider flying any airline other than El Al.

Compared to BA, Delta, KLM, Lufthansa, there is NO legroom in coach! If you can't afford business class, choose another airline!
