1. questions:
gimme a break! ,   Israel   (08.16.11)
Are these the 'hardcore' families who won't accept the multi-million shekel settlement that the government of the State of Israel has passed into law? I should feel sorry for them because....?
2. As a result of the Gaza pullout, Israel received...
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.16.11)
As a result of the Gaza pullout, what exactly did Israel receive? The answer is obvious. 1) Tens of thousands of rockets and they're still landing here. 2) Our last Gaza War. We would never have had to fight it had we stayed in Gaza. 3) The destruction of thriving Jewish communities in Gush Katif and elsewhere. 4) The creation of huge terrorist camps where beautiful thriving Jewish communities once existed. 5) The criminal mass violation of the rights of thousands of completely innocent Israeli civilians. And this is, by no means, a complete list of the disastrous results of the Gaza pullous. Moreover, the disastrous results are identical for every single Israeli retreat.
3. TA protesters: Are you protesting for these people?
Lobo ,   USA   (08.16.11)
Or are you sitting at a cafe on Shenkin Street pondering your self-righteousness? I have a hunch that the Gush Katif evacuees need a home a little more than you do...
4. a law for the strong and one for the weak
norbus ,   jerusalem   (08.16.11)
Social Justice in Israel needs a lot of attention to fix it. Government remiss on asserting itself along a straight path for even handed treatment of members of society. Let us not have winner takes all. Stamp on the black economy, corruption, Planning gains abuse quirky law administration.. Plenty of funds in the system to address the basic minimum a society should give the deserving Have Nots.
5. #1 They are not the pampered tent protesters of today
Yitzcahk ,   TA   (08.16.11)
6. Now imagine 10x the number of refugees
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (08.16.11)
The number expelled from Gaza and northern Samaria was just under 10,000. But if a settlement (yes I know, unlikely) requires evacuating everyone beyond the settlement blocs (just so Palestine can be "Judenrein"), we're talking about 100,000 refugees or more. If Israel is incapable of dealing with 10,000 ...
7. Something does not add up about this people.
leo ,   usa   (08.16.11)
They could not find a place to stay in six years? How about a job? I suspect this people are still fighting the fight, which was lost six years ago. So much time is wasted in their lives. So sad.
8. for some odd reason the area they left behind
ghostq   (08.17.11)

ghostq   (08.17.11)
as I know 2 bedroom apartment is worth 3 million NIS, r you sure multi is accurate sum, and r you sure you ever tried to rent or own apartment in Israel, I have strong feelings you live at your parents house. spoiled brate.
10. @9 thank u 4 letting me know I am "spot on!"
#1   (08.17.11)
Over time I have learned that whenever I am "spot on point" some right winger or other looses it and attacks me on a personal level. Your attack against me and my questions indicates that you have no better defensive arguement; absolutely nothing that is rational; and so you go for the personal attack! I pity you!
