The ONLY answer to Iranian arms smuggling through Sinai and the unreliability of "peace partner" Egypt is straightforward: Israel must cut off the porous Rafah smuggling border from the rest of Gaza by conquering a 3-4 mile wide strip between Rafah and Khan Yousis, from the abandoned Dahaniyah PA airport to the sea. Export the few people in this desert dune strip to north or south, and turn it into a buffer that is de facto annexed to israel for good. Smuggling becomes impossible (too wide to tunnel under from either side), and line of forts down the middle (1 1/2-3 miles from Arabs, too far to tunnel to and hit. Heavy shelling of Gaza if they attack the buffer. Now totally dependent on Israel for everything, cut off from Sinai contact, nothing goes in or out except on condition of good behavior. Or no power and water from israel and no more of Hillary's pasta, no more luxury goods. Let the world whine, their Syria hypocrisy and impotence has discredited them. The French Navy can come and evacuate the terrorists from Gaza to Tunis just like they did the PLO from Lebanon.
