1. Its not a "Miracle"...
Avi ,   Israel   (08.19.11)
It happens some times...To call it a miracle is stupid...
2. Gerrer Rebbe
Yonason Herschlag   (08.19.11)
Does the Gerrer Rebbe continue to hold his position that the Jewish residents of Gaza needed to be expelled?

Avi,It was a miracle. The think is people see God show up in different ways and in different situations but they fail to realise it. Avi has failed to realise it was Gods hand that stopped the grad from exploding
6. Non-believers think they are more...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (08.19.11)
rational,by believing that "Chance" rules the world.
7. Miracle in synagogue: Grad fails to explode
Ester ,   Israel   (08.19.11)
I wish they'd stop saying "no one was hurt" or "there was no damage" after these attacks. It's deceiving. No way are people not hurt or damaged when they don't know when the next attack will be or whether they'll survive it. Even reading or hearing about it is damaging because we don't know if we won't be next. God keep all the victims safe and strong.
8. A nes mi shamayim.
Wise Saba ,   Ma'agalim   (08.19.11)
Eretz Yisrael is full of living miracles from HK"BH daily to those who want to see them, all you have to do is open your eyes.

Henry from New York ,   USA   (08.19.11)
It might be a miracle, it might just be faulty manufacturing. How are we to know? You don't know what caused this one to be a dud, and I don't know, so we cannot say whether it is a miracle or something that just happened. Now, if someone cracked that baby open and examined her, then maybe we could make some determination. Even then, maybe it's still a miracle as we don't fully understand the nature of the universe.
13. invest in prayers rather a Iron Dome
observer ,   Egypt   (08.19.11)
chance of intercepting rocket is less 10%, while chance of preventing explosion equals 100%
14. Yes, it was a BEAUTIFUL miracle! B"H!
Kayla ,   Florida   (08.19.11)
15. The "miracles" we don't always see
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (08.19.11)
The chance/luck vs. miracle argument will always be with us. The prophet tells us "Chok natan v'lo ya'avor" which, as a one-time student of engineering physics, I interpret to mean "He has given us natural laws which are not violated". (This, apropos, is in contrast to the Islamic "in sh'allah" concept.) Quantum theory is all about probability, while chaos theory allows us to see order and patterns out of the erratic, the random, and the unpredictable. A few years ago a missile from Gaza struck a crowded mall (in Ashkelon, IIRC) just at the strongest support point of the roof, minimizing injury. More recently, a bus was targeted on the Gaza border only moments after almost all its passengers had exited. Miracles? You decide. But Israel *does* seem to experience such "good fortune" on a regular basis.
16. It was a big miracle....
Michael ,   Ashdod, ISRAEL   (08.19.11)
Guys, This was a very big miracle. I live across the street and heard the explosion this morning. I sometimes pray in that synagogue, and this morning prayed at another since I was awoken to earlier sirens. This is a caravan and the rocket exploding would have surely killed everyone inside and perhaps others in adjacent caravans. When people ask to see a miracle to believe in G-d they expect to see the Sea splitting, but there are miracle everyday. And this was definitely one.
17. Baruch Hashem :)

Avi go see an optometrist and after go and redoing your circumsition because you have a blockage on Isod
19. If it had gone off ...
Fred ,   Minneapolis, USA   (08.19.11)
Would it have meant their prayers had failed them?
20. To #1
Eliyahu ,   Jerusalem   (08.19.11)
Either there is a God or not and I dont need this case to prove to me otherwise. Avi doesnt want to see Godand that is fine with him, just please dont spread your rationalist heresy, because the world has enough atheists already; we dont need another self hating Jew
21. Not really a miracle
Ali ,   London   (08.19.11)
How does faulty manufacturing make a miracle, you were lucky that's all. And then for the security forces to demolish the place anyway, haha the irony that you destroyed yourself what the missile couldn't ha, hahaha, ha ha.HA
22. miracle
ali ,   London   (08.19.11)
My a load of rubbish, it was the hand of the person that made the grad that made a mistake, not some dubious higher power. You Jews are so bloody righteous, get a grip on reality and stop blaming 'God' for all the shit that goes down in the world It is called HUMAN ERROR not a miracle
23. to #3
Alon ,   Israel   (08.19.11)
You say "Barouch Hashem" and "miracle", but Hashem was also in control when it was fired. Do we thank Him for that too?
24. Confiscate PA tax monies to replace synagogue
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (08.19.11)
It was their "unity partner" that caused the damage. Or better yet - confiscate the contents of 5-10 heavy trucks bringing "luxury aid goods" to Gaza shopping malls and auction it off to pay for the synagogue damage. Israel is allowed to cover its costs in permitting aid deliveries, and this is clearly a cost.
25. No. 23 Alon
NYC Girl   (08.19.11)
I completely agree. And not only that, but wasn't God also in control when four members of that family were murdered or when a hero like Pascal Avrahami lost his life? But what's particularly infuriating is that this nonsense about miracles pre-supposes that God has decided that some people deserve a miracle and others don't... otherwise wouldn't all the victims of the terrorist outrage still be alive?
26. Resp to #22 Ali
Avram Goldsmith ,   Toronto, Canada   (08.19.11)
All your Muslem History is base on denial and you don't get it and when will happen will be to late. Regarding miracle look how much bloody fighting is between Muslems, and everythink fall a part, and now is turn of Syria. Advice prepare some cold food and stuck in your cold room and better to be in London.
27. blinded by Israeli media, why?
observer ,   Egypt   (08.19.11)
Israeli Apache helicopter shot dead four Egyptian policemen and wounded nine other policemen. Egypt summoned the Israeli ambassador, protested! and demanded investigation. Egypt stopped short of reporting to the UN security council, why? Israel breached the Two parts of the treaty; namely limited military presence on areas on BOTH sides of the border, and secondly application of the UN resolution 242; no talk with Palestinians or Syrians and no addressing of the refugee question. WHY? Israel will not go away with it. Killing Egypt's children wont go anymore unpunished.
28. resp to 26
Ali ,   London   (08.19.11)
Erm i am not a Muslim (note the correct spelling) I am an atheist with a bit more of a grip on reality that most Israelies.
29. #1 - it happens some times?
William ,   Israel   (08.19.11)
Yes it does, rarely, but the normal outcome is injuries and death from an exploding rocket. Basically, with all the dangers in the world, waking up, going about your day without get hit by some kid on a scooter, not contract a disease, and make it home to your bed unscathed...IS a miracle. You've just gotten used to having them, so you do not appreciate them anymore. Basically, you feel entitled to them. The religious count every blessing, acknowledge miracles, and basically announce their gratitude for them. Even the New Age group, who are not at all religious, admit this is both a cleansing and enlightening act.
30. #6 - but they are the first to blame everyone else...
William ,   Israel   (08.19.11)
when something negative befalls them.
