Egypt is in sad shape, and it shows when a large band (estimated at up to 20) of heavily armed terrorists brazenly goes under the noses of Egypt's military in the Sinai and launches a murderous attack against Israeli civilians. Egypt is paying a heavy price for their two-faced approach in the Sinai - ignoring terrorists and allowing smuggling of weapons and cash into Gaza. The Egyptian record is dismal. Their troops and security arms have been unable to stop the terrorists, while the best their soldiers seem to be able to do is shoot and kill dozens of unarmed refugees - including women and children - trying to sneak into Israel for a better life. Of course they withdrew their ambassador. It's about the only thing they could do to save face.

This is one of the gifted moments when you can turn around historical mistakes and turn them into an opportunity, they are known to twist turn lie and falsify the truth bluntly and with no shame so give them enough rope to hang themselves – let them bring the Egyptian army into the Sinai peninsula and in full force to deal with what goes on there and in time it will encourage them to make a move against us forcing us to a second six days war but this time we will take care of them and Gaza properly and for a good…

The peace treaty is going down the toilet. Little by little, Egypt will renege on all their treaty obligations. They've made a good start already. Peace treaties & agreements with our Arab neighbors are the result of wishful thinking rather than common sense. Even very smart people deceive themselves by thinking that ''everyone'' wants peace. Not true. This isn't just wishful thinking but close-minded arrogance, the inability to see other cultures for what they are instead of what you want them to be. In America, it's already a bit of a joke as every calamity is called ''unexpected'' by the liberal media. It's only ''unexpected'' because they were blinded by ideology, sane & normal people predicted the consequences. So it is here in Israel. ''Unexpected'' .......

It is quiet clear that the old Egypt is gone and that this "new-Arab spring" bullshit Egypt has found a good strategy to go against Israel,letting terror cells, maybe with the help of egyptian police border,to attack Israel and than,and only than,have a good reason to "take legal steps against Israel... Egypt no longer sees any benefit in the peace treaty and really won;t support efforts to keep the border calm. It is quite possible that some of their forces in Sinai aided the terrorists that came into Israel. So with the gas pipeline shut yet again, it appears that the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt is really hanging by a thread-and that thread is the threat of an aid cut by the USA...we are light years away from real peace...

Egyptians can allow terrorists, aided and abetted by Egyptian soldiers, to kill Israels but when Israel retaliates and kills the terrorists and those who aided them, then "Israel is politically and legally responsible for this incident". Of course, holier than thou Egypt is not responsible for letting terrorists to use its territory to kill Israelis. Egypt opened the Gaza border and is allowing terrorists from Gaza to use its territory to train there to kill Israelis! Egypt knows very well that the Sinai Peninsula was returned to Egypt as a result of the Peace Agreement and should this agreement be nullified, Israel and Egypt would once again be at war and the Sinai would be retaken! We should have returned OUR ambassador from Egypt and file a complaint over Egypt allowing armed terrorists to cross the International Border into Israel and kill civilians! They've briken already so many sections of the so-called "peace treaty" that one might think that we are still at war. And sadly, I believe that we'll soon be, as Sinai quickly becomes what Gaza used to be during the Fedayen times. So Egypt better do something about Sinai or Israel will, and then they can kiss their Sinai goodbye and I don't think that next time we shall talk about peace, they will get everything back as they did in '78. Egypt is quickly becoming Turkey #2 and we should learn how to deal with it based on the lessons we learned from the Turkish treason.
