1. The Moldavan bouncer is occasionally
seadog1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NJ   (08.20.11)
repulsive yet, strangely, entertaining.
2. Since "Lieberman intends to meet with his staff on
seadog1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NJ   (08.20.11)
Saturday night..." Will the vodka be properly chilled?
3. this game was supposed to play differently...
eporue ,   europe   (08.20.11)
lieberman and his gang tried to fool the UN, especially the US president, what was only prevented by the lebanese intervention... had they gotten through, and taken the US president for a free ride to much bigger atrocities, then the war in the middle east would have been inevitable... liebermans wording is interesting to read, isnt it? the criminals ALWAYS give themselves away, its ALWAYS just a matter of time... he is quite disappointed, sure... the worst was prevented by the lebanese intervention... and the stupid UN, which 99 % of the talkback posters here dont realize, couldnt agree to condemn the settlements and the disproportionate use of violence by israel.. thats why the vote failed... because they didnt condemn israel... lol... but, nevermind, you dont understand that, when you read that crappy ynet articles...
4. and one more question...
eporue ,   europe   (08.20.11)
is it possible - after days of attacks, dozens of fighters dropping dozens of bombs, and at least 9 more dead bodies later - to have the attackers identified ?... name, place, age, political group, photograph...
5. No, it's not, you Russian jerk
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (08.20.11)
The P.A. is most definitely NOT responsible. The original attacks did not originate from Palestinian--let alone P.A. territory--and it's doubtful the terrorists were even Palestinian. The rockets raining down on the South are coming from 3Aza, which--again--is not P.A. territory. If anything, there have been far fewer attacks of any kind stemming from P.A. lands than ever before, including while Israel was administering them. BTW, why is the Iron Dome not intercepting the rockets? Maybe because there aren't enough batteries to go around. Why not? Maybe because there's not enough money to manufacture them. Why not? Maybe because it's been lavished on the idiotic settlements enterprise. Just my two shkalim...
6. Lieberman sounds like Israel's only lion
Marcel ,   Florida   (08.20.11)
The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, But the righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1 Where are Bibi and Barak ,hiding under their desks or trying to contact their false god of no peace, Obama to get permission to do more than just restrained targeting of the enemy ?
7. #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (08.20.11)
#1 and #2 you are an horrible racist #3, and #4 are you talking about Assad? your comment fit exactly #5 PA and Hamas are allys according to EL Cairo Treaty
8. Likud is going to lose a lot of votes to Lieberman
Rachel ,   US   (08.20.11)
He is the way the Likud used to be.
9. the UN is not blindly condemning israel or blindly supportin
eporue ,   europe   (08.20.11)
g it... the UN (was used to) blindly condemn terror attacks.. but after yesterdays vicious game, played by ron prosor and the israeli government, the UN members will certainly look through it... maybe they have already... this was, what israel played upon... to have another terror attack blindly condemned, and then bring the pot to boil over... WITH the UN and even the US presidents green light... they would have escalated the situation, what they wanted, and the same time pulled the US pres down the sewer with it... as he would have basically signed it off... didnt work out... thanks to lebanon... probably none of the participants realised this at that time, but now they certainly do... what do you think, how often can you play that game ?
10. Liberman, keep up the good work
Palestinian 4 ever   (08.20.11)
I love you , man !
11. Maybe yes we hate "Israel" but
Salma ,   Palestine   (08.20.11)
sure we do not hate you Mr. Bouncer ; ) after Turkey , Egypyt, I think only you dudu can cut "Israel's" ties with the United States . Best wishes from Ramallah & NYC .
12. Begin's folly at Camp David is now apparent
Steve   (08.20.11)
Menachem Begin, in league with anti-Semitic president Jimmy Carter, agreed to withdraw Israeli forces and settlments from the strategic Sinai in exchange for a cold war with Egypt; a cold war Israel would have had in any event by keeping control over the Sinai. Egypt is going the way of Muslim Brotherhood, with President Barack Hussein Obama's blessings. The Sinai will need to be re-occupied by Israel; as will Gaza.
13. but what about...
J   (08.20.11)
what about Liberman's own scandal? has that been dealt with? and what do the latest events mean for us in terms of rent and real estate prices? and what about the whole talk with those who give us medical care (doctors on strike)? ya, the latest events deserve attention but i hope this doesn't become incentive for the government to forget about reforms.
14. Why are we killing civilians and childrens in Gaza?
YOAV ,   TEL AVIV   (08.20.11)
Are we blind, or the love of revenge. What happened to our morals and true Judaism? I belive we've lost it all.....
15. LIEBERMAN. That's the name of Israel's next PM
(08.20.11)
Have to laugh...so much crap you boys write up here about Lieberman... he really gets under your skins, doesnt he??? LOL! He is destined to be the future PM and just hate to see how much frenzy that will put you poor little lefties in?!!! Go Lieberman. Nail each and every one to the wall.. GO!
16. #13, the air is already out of this...
eporue ,   europe   (08.20.11)
...next weekend, the protesters are back, and bibi and barak back in the public court to answer questions... apart from many lifes, and a lot of money, this did also cost a lot of israels credibility in the world - now, gaza is shooting BACK... whoever has dun it... and all your subsequent actions... it went totally wrong ! lieberman is totally frustrated... the others probably too... BACK TO THE TENTS, BACK TO THE PUBLIC COURT - not less, but more questions to answer... 16 billion dollar per year - and everyone can walk over your border as they like... did barak apologize to you already ?
17. The problem is..Lieberman is always right..
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (08.20.11)
...and for all the Lieberman hate monster....you are just hate crabs...
18. Of course the PA is responsible!
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.20.11)
They are the GOVERNMENT and they are accountable for every single war crime committed by their people that they do not do anything about. That is what it means to be the government. Fatah has murdered more Israelis than all other terrorist groups combined and brag about it. To date not one Arab has ever been arrested for murdering an Israeli or for that matter committing any crimes against a Jew. Why? Because it isn't against the law. Now is the time to take out all the terrorists starting with Abbas.
19. #16...the air is already out? Are you sure that's air?
(08.20.11)
Man, that's not air! You dont know ANYTHING. Olmert survived "scandal" for years and still was PM. You may end up being right...but not so fast. Besides...having Lieberman around gives you something to get all worked up about and you dont even live in Israel!! :-)
20. #11 Poor old salmonella...more drivel from the microbe
(08.20.11)
By the time Lieberman gets into office, Obama and the his pinky twit outfit will be history. The ties will be strengthened if anything. Even today..the debacle in the UN, where Lebanon blocked the condemnation of the terror attack. ..That is NOT LOST on reasonable people. Nor is the piss weak response to ongoing (the real kind) massacres in Syria..and elsewhere. These are the end days of UN influence and clout. Get used to Lieberman; he's going to sort your friends out.
21. Lieberman;unfriended Abass on Facebook
Abu Ali   (08.20.11)
22. yjsrael beiteinu.
sjoerd ruurd...... ,   everywhere   (08.20.11)
the party yjsrael beiteinu is also partly responsible/to blame for the continuation of this conflict in western-asia. also of course the revisionistic, zionistic coalition in that part of the world.
23. Retake all our land and deal with P.A. as the enemy it is.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.20.11)
It is obvious that Israel suffers enormously from every single concessions and retreat we have ever made. All our retreats, without exception, are a complete disaster. Israel must retake all our lands, which we liberated in 1967. We must also stop pretending the terrorist P.A. are "peace partners" and deal with them as the bloodthirsty enemy they are.
24. Egypt's troops found three dead Bedouins & explosive belt
observer ,   Egypt   (08.20.11)
near the border at the region of attack. The Zion G-d gave up His promise to the Bedouins. Now they seek to extort the covenant from their G-d. Hadn't Israel contested his own G-d.
25. #eporue, europe - please make your posts understandable
rebecca ,   Modiin   (08.20.11)
This is an English Site. At least try make what you say make some sense.
26. He is wrong
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (08.20.11)
Lieberman is wrong, the PA is not responsible. Fatah and Hamas have never lied: they have always said that their purpose is to destroy Israel. The people responsible are Israeli governments that gave Fatah and Hamas weapons, territory and international legitimacy to carry out their plans. This includes the current Netanyahu government that spent all its time persecuting Jews and ignoring the real threat.
27. PA
Mark ,   USA   (08.20.11)
While the PA/Hamas may very well be responsible for the current violence, Israel has to STOP relying on anyone besides the IDF to defend the boundaries of the State of Israel and its citizens. If Jewish powerlessness has taught us anything, is that when you rely on others for your protection, there is none. Please, for the sake of Jewish survival, hermetically seal the boundaries of the territory that Israel wishes to keep, regardless of world opinion, which will NEVER support Jews short of another holocaust, and deal with those "citizens" who do not pledge allegiance to the Jewish state of Israel. Israelis who are unwilling to serve in the military or do national service and swear allegiance can live where they currently live but will lose their voting citizenship. Open up citizenship to Jews worldwide who are willing to either serve in the military or do national service, regardless of where they reside. This will undoubtedly add a few million Zionist Jews to the population roles, rendering the demographic issues a moot point. Never Again!!
