ISRAEL already has the united Arab world against it/us, but not united in attacking...Arabs now have TOO MUCH TO LOSE, TOO SELFISH TO ACT. In order for Israel to live in peace and prosperity in the middle east; it must recognize Palestine as arab country and live together side by side in peace with 67 boarders not 48 according to UN rules before. arab world recognize Israel as one middle eastern country among them; why Israel does not give the Palestinian people the same right live and let other live?????why?

The solution is the reversal of what caused the problem in the first place. What caused our last Gaza War and the tens of thousands of rockets from Gaza and all the problems we are having with Gaza? Our retreat from Gaza. Given that our Gaza problems all stem from our retreat from Gaza; the solution is obviously to retake Gaza forever, and to demolish our enemy within Gaza. It's basically the same solution which won WW II for the Allies and brought permanent peace to Europe and Asia.

If you read the Arabic papers as well as others (and not just western or Israeli press) you'll see that most of the rest of the world has figured out that this is Assad's Ploy: Tehren is worried that it's Damascus puppet may fall, so rather than that happen, they are helping Assad encourage the PRC and Hamas to raise hell with Israel. This will detract world media attention from Assad's slaughter of his own people (since Libya is almost over, and NATO is newly available to hit Damascus) AND will draw Israel into Cast Lead II and give the Palestinian's a HUGE propaganda victory right before September and with any luck at all, weaken Egypt and destroy the peace treaty (although this would just be gravy). There is a concept in American football called "offsides." This is where an opposing player is tricked into making an illegal move, and the opposing team is penalized for that illegal move. Invading Gaza will only advance the interests of Syria and Iran, and Israel witll be penalized for being "offsides." Do NOT fall for this.

No huge land operation is required, the objective should be to cut off rocket smuggling by isolating Rafah from the rest of Gaza, with IDF punching through the 5 miles to the sea across the sand dunes between the Rafah border and Khan Younis. Create a fortified No-Mans-Land 3 miles wide, too wide to tunnel under and ban all surface travel from the Rafah border. That stops rocket smuggling for good, because Israel should never withdraw from this barrier strip. THEN is makes sense to target rocket supplies with air strikes, because they can't be replaced. Arab world united against Israel,.They do that when Israel is only defending itself - look at Arab League resolution of yesterday, which doesn't even mention the cross-border raid ot Grad attacks, only Israeli air strikes - they are the enemy?? Altho I am not Israeli.I cannot understand his logic that it would unite the Arab world against us. THEY ARE!!

The only way to prevent it is a large scale operation, eliminating the leadership and its infrastructure. The only question is the timing, before of after September? Or waiting for another round of violence , a few more israeli lives lost? Time is working in their favor!

There's nothing wrong with aza that a couple of thermobaric weapons can't solve. even if they are exploded where all they do is minor damage, start at 5 km or whatever away and move closer with each rocket...

Let Gaza be it's own country with closed secure borders with Israel. Until it changes it ideology there can never be any unity for Palestinians and no peace or realization of any "Palestine". with a safe and secure Israel beside it.
