At some point in time Israel is going to have to face that the real problem... Iran. Iran is the head of the dog and thus supplies weapons, money and safety to those attacking Israel. Israel will never be at peace as long as the head is not cut off. Israel will continue to fight with hamas, hezbollah, the PLO, Egypt and other factions until Iran is defeated. That is a fight Israel must plan for and win.

The stupid Europeans (and toss in Obama too, and loads of bleeding heart left leaners around the world) insist that we sit down and "negotiate" with these people. They think that we can sign a "peace treaty" with radical Islamic Islamofascists like Hamas and Hezbollah. This is what we get in return. This is why we cannot negotiate with Hamas, nor ever contemplate that there could be "peace" with these psychopathic liars.

So yea - the most likely reason is that there're babies there. Like the 4-month old Jewish baby that their parents tried to murder over the weekend. And of course, just at Jonah's words were fulfilled a generation later, the people of Edom (and the Gazans are quite adamant about being Palestinians), have already been prophesied to by Obadiah. Their foot shall slip in due time. I have read you enough to see rhetoric; the monsters in Gaza are of course as human as Assyria, and Gaza is as much a human city as Nineveh. It speaks poorly of humanity that we are capable of the evil that the "palestinian' Arabs have committed. And yes, the Jews are the apple of G-d's eye - why should we expect you to disagree with Him? :) One last comment before I get some sleep: Judgement on Sodom waited until Lot and his immediate family was out (physically removed by angels). Perhaps it will be possible physically to remove the sweet little babies? Maybe someone could say something like: "We're giving you x hours to remove your little ones," then, then at x hours plus 1 minute, rain down judgement. You'd have a lot of babies to teach Hebrew and teach from infancy to follow the Torah. Train up a whole passel of foundlings in the way they should go, and when they are old, they'll still be loving Israel and the Author of the Torah. :) Okay - it'll be interesting to see in the morning whether the mods post this. There's nothing wrong with it that I can tell, so I'm hoping it'll be here.

It has been stolen by those who launched any campaign that would serve to deligitimize the state of Israel. The fact of the matter is that the Arabs cannot hit the broad side of a barn, but that is not the issue. The law looks to intent, not efficacy. The mere act of firing a missile at civilian populations is the war crime; it does not really matter where the missile lands. And no, the south is not sparsely populated. You've got Ashdod, Ashkelon and Be'ersheva, to name just the three largest cities. There are lots of smaller towns, too, all in the line of fire.
