We learned in the last day or so that among those targeting Israeli civilians and security forces were ... Egyptians. Clearly Barak's rush to apologize to Egypt was beyond uncalled for, and shows he is the wrong man for the job. And it is *Egypt* that needs to apologize to Israel for those lives lost.

Anyapology in any form whatsoever, by Israel to Turkey or Egypt would be a huge mistake and a sign of weakness on Israel's part. That Ehud Barak even considers an apology to Turkey shows that he's not fit to be the minister of Defence.

Israeli apologies for defending ourselves, often half heartedly, from terrorism are ludicrous. Most nations would take far stronger action than Israel has if they faced a comparable threat. Imagine, for instance, how Russia, China or America would react to the pounding of their cities by rockets! There is no reason for Israel to act any less strongly than these nations. Israel should take far stronger action. Not apologize.

These are the type of people we need in office, the type that have a clear vision of what needs to be done, that value the life of Jews, not the world opinion. It may be difficult, but these decisions need to be made, and Barak is definitely not making them.

I pray for protection of the people who must endure these terrible, unprovoked rocket attacks.
