max ,   washington dc   (08.26.11)
Any Judge or Jury would find the The Iranian lawsuit against Russia - "Without Any Merit" as the United Nations Security Council has imposed restrictive sanctions on Military Sales to Iran. Russia is a permanent member of the Security Council and the Iranian Government should not antagonize the Great Bear!
2. The Mullahs boast new home developed missiles all the time.
PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (08.26.11)

Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (08.26.11)
The foreign policy of a country and its defense matters are an integral and indivisible part of the sovereignty of that country, and can not be subject to litigation in international courts which are not authorized to infringe on the independence and sovereignty of countries of the world.
5. Iran suing Russia
Dr Reality Check ,   USA   (08.26.11)
For a country that respects no laws to sue another is kind of funny. If Iran is lucky, Russia will just ignore it. Iranian leaders may want to reconsider ticking off the Russians. As the Ukrainians learned, sometimes bad things just happen to leaders who annoy the Russians.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.26.11)
So much for the reverse-engineered better versions of Iranian developed missile defenses. Why am I not surprised? Wanna talk second and third generation centrifuges? Nah. Didn't think so.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.26.11)
As a lawyer, I do appreciate your reasoned view. Nevertheless -- we are talking about Iran, a completely lawless country, and Israel can nail their asses to the wall pretty much at will. To believe otherwise is foolish, naiive, juvenile, childish and ignorant. Oh, gosh! Was that plagiary? I looked it up. No. Besides -- care to talk to our nukes?

Comment - Iran has lost those rights by woving to wipe Israel fron the Map. Murderers has not the Right to Freedom if their intents and planing is known. Amazing what kind of Usefull Fools there are Arn.

If you care to look at the situation without being biased.Even the countries in the West have,on many defence equipment, chosen to buy certain items from other countries if they feel that the items so purchased would be better in terms of technology. However, you must remember that Iran has been under sanctions from its critical time since 1979,having gone through a long-drawn war where it is apparent to the world how Saddam was assisted by known sources, how logistic support was given to Iraq and ended in him also getting the chemical weapons. With what Iran has achieved so far,it is commendable and sources in the Western hemisphere acknowledge the rapidity with which Iran made progress in different areas of defense equipment. It is only in the talk-back coloumn where you notice easy going Sarah manages to convince the readers how all these progress that Iran has made can be overcome although this is the 5th.summer that she has been upto doing that, for your information.

The foreign policy of a country and its defense matters are an integral and indivisible part of the sovereignty of that country, and can not be subject to litigation in international courts which are not authorized to infringe on the independence and sovereignty of countries of the world Interesting. Therefore, by this, you agree, by implication, that all these spurious claims of war crimes against Israel and its citizens are totally invalid as well. See - you cannot have it both ways. If a country's foreign policy and defense is an integral part of its sovereignty, then any action by Israel is therefore totally legal. Thank you for your support.

If at some point a palestinian state were created that would not be allowed a military to defend itself which as you say is integral to its independence. Israel though will probably get an increase in US military aid spending as part of its incentive package for agreeing to the creation of the state. So you will have one country thats not allowed the means to defend itself from anybody and next door a regional superpower. The idea of a nuclear Iran though is not going to benefit anybody in the region or beyond now they have missiles that can hit Europe and are working on intercontinental missiles which would be able to hit the US. Unless you dream of being a martyr you should remember if Iran fired a nuke Jerusalem would not be spared.
17. as usual the Iranians make the wrng move
zionist forever   (08.26.11)
Iran still gets alot of its weapons from Russia and they rely on Russia to veto sanctions the way Israel does for the US so over the cancelation of one contract is it really worth damaging relations with Russia?
18. Lovers spat??
Bad assed Jew. ,   United States   (08.26.11)
Maybe Russia knows something we in the west do not? Like, Iran aiming the Russian missiles at Russia?
19. Deliver the missiles as promised....
Froike ,   NY NY   (08.26.11)
As an act of good faith and friendship towards Russia, I propose the US, Israel, and NATO should deliver the missiles as promised: Although the order may not be filled exactly as ordered, we have a wonderful selection of smart bombs, Tomahawks, Tactical Nuclear devices, and EMF weapons that everyone would love to send to Iran fortwith! We promise discounted prices and door to door delivery to you Ahmidenijad!!!!!
