Turn Gaza into a parking lot....Give the Gazans a day or two to pack and leave...Then drop about 100 Wad Cutters from N to S.
2. I knew it! It is all B.S. We need a real leader!
Israeli 2   (08.26.11)
3. @#1....
Joe ,   California   (08.26.11)
Do you understand what it is you are advocating? Ethnic cleansing. Not cool bro. Also, let's say Israel took your advice and cleared out all the residents of Gaza. Then what? Where do they go? Sinai? Great. Now they attack from Sinai and you've managed to create a couple of ten thousand more terrorists b/c they're all (rightly) ticked off about losing their homes.
4. barak again
mohson   (08.26.11)
Everything barak touches turns into rockets, maiming and death. Intelligence recommended that the PRC be targetted as they were a ticking terrror group into the sinai. And barak blocked it bec ause he was afraid of egyptian response. He is afraid of his shadow and no longer can serve as defence minister. If bibi doesn't see this then he is a fool. -paintball guns on the marmora -lynching of soldiers in ramallah -running away from a training accident -was against the syrian nuclear hit - enough already-shift him to minster without portfoliio. The media is responsible for inflating his accomplishments.
5. A massive carpet bombing campaign
jason white ,   afula, israel   (08.26.11)
and constant artillery barrages would be a better weapon. We have to totally defeat ham-ass and make an example to our other enemies. You do not win wars, unless you destroy the enemy and his civilian population.
6. #3. The poster at #1 is absolutely right.
Lobo ,   USA   (08.26.11)
7. Agreed
Steven A. ,   Bay Area, USA   (08.26.11)
Targeted assassinations are the most effective and best method to prevent terrorism. It's time to get proactive. Don't wait until after the cell fires its rockets. With their own heads on the line, Hamas sings a different tune..
8. this will bankrupt Israel in no time
chaim schonbrun ,   brooklyn ny   (08.26.11)
killilng idvidual terrorist's with bombs released from flying F15's,is criminaly insane,do we have an idea what the cost of this is ? it must be at least 1 million to 2 million dollars to kill a terrorist, this will bankrupt Israel in no time, this insane cowardly policy, proves once again that, leftis'm is a severe menal disease and is suicidal, the one and only way to deal with these murderous animals from Gaza,is the way the U.S dealt with the Nazis in the last world war, remmember what they did to Dresden and Berlin ?
9. pinpoints for pinheads
Baldrick   (08.26.11)
very apt for their tiny little brains, what a bunch of moron clowns.
10. #3 Joe
BK   (08.26.11)
We don't care for ethnic cleansing. there are plenty of Arabs in Israel. We just want to get rid of the terrorist that shoot rockets into Israel. Unfortunately, they hide in Gaza, so if they don't want to be pushed out, all they have to do is stop the missiles and stop hating Israel! Then, you will quickly see peace.
11. #8 difficult logic
Ilan   (08.26.11)
I think that a great many of the targeted terrorists are dispatched by drones with missiles and do not require an F16, but even then pilots need flying time and nothing beats learning by doing. Similarly why dispose of all those out-dated bombs, just use before their expiration date and smile. As to the proposal to carpet bombs. Way too many bombs and most Israelis have no desire to see civilian causalities amongst the palestinians. Arabs use the language of total war and set their sights at eliminating all Israelis which is why they do not care if they attack soldiers or civilians. We are not like them and have no desire to descend to that level of inhumanity.
12. Selfdeceptive Selfdecetion !.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (08.26.11)
Back to surgical strikes Op-ed: Israel resumes pinpoint eliminations of terrorists, the most effective anti-terror weapon Comment - This is the opinion of Amateurs. Surgical strikes has been used before and has not solved the ongoing murder of civilians, and the Terrorising of the Israeli Society. This has only allowed the Wolves to come for more Sheeps all the time, and paying with some Wolves for the Sheeps. This also showes the Mental incompetence of the Israeli Governments, they cant protect the civilians although all the means are at their disposal. God bevere !. Arn.Sweden.
13. Should never have stopped until final peace agreement
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (08.26.11)
No "lulls" for enemies to re-arm, re-equip, heal, regroup and improve their technology. Fight them non-stop until they capitulate.
14. Does each bomb from a f-15 cost $1or 2 million?
(08.26.11)
who's going to pay for this?
15. #14 - the plane and the bomb were
seadog1946 ,   Erie Basin, NYC   (08.26.11)
paid for by US taxpayers a long time ago... Israel's costs are minimal... it's just pilot's pay, jet fuel, aircraft maintenance, etc. It's also great fun for the pilot... short distance and no opposition!
16. #15 seadog1946.
Steven ,   Rockville, USA   (08.27.11)
Can you think anything different other then the taxpayers covering the expenses?. If you are so smart, you should already know that the US aid to Israel is about 5% of the budget. In any case, I am convinced you are among those that do not pay any income tax, and you live from hand-outs. Go back to your gin, enjoy your sea, which is Lake Erie, you are all fake.
17. Surgical strikes didn't win WW II and they won't win for us.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.27.11)
Surgical strikes may be better than doing absolutely nothing; which has often been Israel's response to terror since the Oslo Disaster. However, it is a losers game. Surgical strikes didn't win WW II and they won't win for Israel. The WW II Allies knew they had to win at any cost, and this ranked infinitely higher than consideration for the welfare of hostile civilians. Israel won't start winning again till we adopt the same attitude.
18. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.27.11)
First of all, it is not true. But even were it true, most Americans would consider it money incredibly well spent. You, on the other hand, seem to love the Arab hordes. Probably applauded the events of September 11. No wonder you spend your life rowing a dinghy. In your place, I'd probably try and escape, too. Have you thought about rowing your way to Teheran? Given your mindset, you probably should.
19. Isn't it absolutely amazing ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.27.11)
... that Israel always knows where and when? Think on that a bit, assholes.
20. #19 Sarah B. Not so amazing
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (08.27.11)
They use their rent an Arab rat service, the brothers sell each other out in pursuit of the mighty dollar, you might remember the old game show,"The Price is Right", just folloiwing a tradition
21. Israel-Bomb the gaza towns, period!!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (08.27.11)
Time to make the morons pay and pay dearly. I know there are political reasons, but at some time killing your enemy is necessary. Their attacks are an act of war and Israel should do what we, in the US ,did to japan, bomb their key towns. We killed 100,000 + and nobody complained.Time to show the racist muslims we do not accept their barbarism. Just Do It !!!!!!
22. targeted killings!
Yoel ,   Israel   (08.28.11)
when will it ever go through our heads- that most Arabs want to see our downfall- enter Gaza now and do what should have been done lono long ago!-- before its too late
23. 17
(08.28.11)
adopt the same attitude //which is the atitude that of gaza sure that of gaza
24. Joe #3 do you know what the Arabs advocate?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.28.11)
The genocide of every single Jew on this planet. That is in the Hamas charter and they STATE IT DAILY. What would you do with somebody that says they are going to kill you and every single day attempt it? Reason with them? Good luck with that. We are fighting a war against genocide and it's time we showed up for it.
