1. he also said that it's only his opinion!!!!
DEAR YNET   (08.31.11)
2. He's a politician.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (08.31.11)
So, you can't believe a word of what he says. Tomorrow, he could vote on something that is the complete opposite of his statement. Politicians have only one merchandise - BS. In our multi-party bolshevik system, we can't hold politicians accountable. If we could vote for individual candidates instead of this idiot party list crap, we could at least limit the lying.
3. TRULLY TIRESOME
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (08.31.11)
We understand that politicians live on media attention and power. Still the constant barrage of empty slogans , meaningless opinions and manipulations, are getting to much attention from the media. All these visits are image boosters that do not translate into anything tangible. On top of that these same politicians will sell us out down the road anyway, without blinking an eye or losing a night of sleep. The problem is that the public has the attention span of a an average 3 year old and a lack of memory to match.
4. i don't have a problem with a person's own opinions... as
Lauran ,   Israel   (08.31.11)
long as we don't go to war for his opinions only. i know roby is a wonderful man so please spare us the drama!!!
5. Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin is in the opposition
observer ,   Egypt   (08.31.11)
for Israel's general policy is that Itamar and the entire West Bank are disputed territories.
6. if abbas can say that a leg of a jew won't pass in palestine

7. No, I do not want to see "palestinian" cars on my roads!
tom ,   tel aviv   (08.31.11)
8. Some, no doubt, will be critical of Rivlin. Thus,...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (08.31.11)
... I wish to ask: If Eretz Israel (Land of Israel) and Zion/Jerusalem at its center has been the national homeland of the Jewish people for the past 4,000 years, and the cradle of its civilization, Judaism, why shouldn't Jews be allowed to live in their homeland? I realize, Mr. B.H.Obama and Ms. H.Clinton, the liberals, have demanded that Jews, only because they are Jews, must limit their living space on earth and refrain from residing in certain villages, towns and even city neighborhoods of their homeland. But, evidently, the two and those who agree with them use applied racism, anti-Jewish racism. It is high time we all agree: Jews are human beings with the same rights and obligations as all other human beings, and Jews must not be told by anyone, anyone, where they may or may not reside due to the fact that they are Jewish!!
9. I AGREE
daniel ,   finland   (08.31.11)
but will israel ever tell this to the world, or will it send conflicting messages forever trashing its credibility as a rational entity? of course not: on the one hand it wants to divide the land, but on the other hand it really can't, nor does it really want to. israel can't last for long as it is. why do people in israel seem to think that it can? or if they can't, why is nothing being done?
10. Israelis are ours exclusively
Palestinian   (08.31.11)
11. We must NEVER tolerate another Israeli retreat.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.31.11)
Rivlin is absolutely correct. This tiny land is ours in it's entirety. This is not only Rivlin's opinion. It is not a matter of opinion at all. It has been proven by many international law experts, including Eugene Rostow, author of U.N. Resolution 242. Almost all of Israel's major problems are direct results of Israeli retreats and they will end when we retake our abandoned lands forever.
12. #10 You are an Arab squatter, not a "Palestinian".

No more dispute come September.
18. #14. Loving Israel means standing up for Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.31.11)
#14. The gist of your post is that all those who love Israel should submit to the will of her enemies! There is no difference between the BDS movement and the Nazi boycott of Jewish stores; which is it's inspiration. If Israel lunatically abandons our ancestral heartalnd (which we legally own); our vicious boycotters would not suddenly love Israel. They'd continue to boycott us because they hate us. Just as their Nazi spiritual ancestors did so. Loving Israel means standing up for Israel.
19. Hashem gave ALL of Israel to the Jews not to squatters.

If God didn't do miracles anymore then modern day Israel wouln't exist. Look around you, Israel is a miracle and an inspiration for those who open their eyes.
24. Avi # 21
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (08.31.11)
You have no way of knowing why Bunnie lives where she does or judging her commitment to Israel. I'd rather see Bunnie standing up for Israel here than some stuffed shirt that just happens to be taking up space in Israel.
25. Jarda, Czech is ours
German ,   Frankfurt, Germany   (09.01.11)
What is now the Czech republic was the German provinces of Bohemia and Moravia. Anything of lasting value in the Czech republic was built by German ancestors. Jarda, you are probably of Hungarian ancestry and you should go to Hungary

I have looked at the most popular book in the world. But the Bible is very confusing about what land God promised the Jews. Moses said God gave the Jews all the land from the Euphrates to the Nile. But it seems God reneged on that, and then Jews believed God gave them all the land of Palestine. But then God let the Jews down again when in Judges 2 21-23, he said “I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died.” Many semite nations inhabited Palestine when God said that, including in Judea and Samaria. So how much land was left for God to give to the Jews then? When Israel declared statehood, Jews owned 7% of the land of Palestine. Was that the land God promised?Apparently God didn’t mention Jerusalem, at least Moses didn’t quote him as mentioning the city. The Israelis didn’t liberate anything in 1967. In 1967, Israel replaced a Jordanian occupation of Palestinian territory with an Israeli occupation.
