R ,   Israel   (09.01.11)
3. Oh how th real truth hurts!
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.01.11)
Another blow to the Palestinian propaganda machine.
4. Curious they'd first file the suit in Kuwait.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (09.01.11)
Israel after all has no diplomatic relations with Kuwait. As to referring the case to the International Criminal Court, Israel is not a signatory to the treaty. Thus Israel doesn't answer to them.
5. It is under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations
Ibrahim ,   Turkey   (09.01.11)
6. Israel sue
Mordehcai ,   london   (09.01.11)
Perhaps Israel should sue Kuwait for breaking international law.
7. IF NOT FOR ISRAEL 'S INTEL KUWAIT WOULD STILL BE PARTOF IRAQ

schemes ,   ISRAEL   (09.01.11)
thank you the whole thing is ridiculous who do they want to show how good and honest there are somethings rotten here
10. Ibrahim #5 doesn't apply
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (09.01.11)
Hate to inform you, but that is only the case where there are diplomatic relations between the countries in question.
11. MORE PROOF POSITIVE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.01.11)
Just another confirmation that Israel , bears no responsibility, and they acted legally in the flotilla incident. Since civil liability is even easier to prove in court. You don't need "reasonable doubt", but just a preponderance of the evidence a much lower legal standard. CASE CLOSED
12. Big load of BS
Watcher ,   Heavens   (09.01.11)
The Mavi Marmara was intercepted in international waters, so this whole story is a big load of BS. Why bother with such cheap and stupid propaganda. It only makes you look desperate.
13. #12 - watch out watcher
dan kaplan ,   usa   (09.01.11)
wrong ! once you announce your intention to violate a legal blockade, you are fair game for interception.
14. #12; Watcher, YEA, SO WHAT???????
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.01.11)
You state that the: "Mavi Marmara was intercepted in International waters". What does that have to do with anything? If your implying that makes a difference, your wrong, and if you think it does. Great! Then explain why you believe that, and how that affects the legality, or illegality, of the blockade? Were all anxiously waiting for your legal explanation, or are we to accept it, simply because you say so? Hmmm.
15. What do you mean "may win"?
William ,   Israel   (09.01.11)
We WILL win and you WILL be the laughing stock of humiliation in the Arab world. Take note. You're not the first to bring a lawsuit against Israel, and have it quickly dismissed.
16. #5 - if that were true, we could send ALL Israeli diplomats
William ,   Israel   (09.01.11)
on Mossad operations and you'd have to let them enter your countries uncontested and leave unharmed. Nice attempt at twisting Intl Laws to support your platform, but no Turkish Delight for you. It only works for countries that have diplomatic relations (as #10 pointed out). Want to really hurt Israel the next time you want to launch a stunt like this flotilla? Develop Diplomatic Relations with the Jewish State first. That'll show them!
17. #12 - typical hateful Leftist response
William ,   Israel   (09.01.11)
They often call on the UN and cite Intl Law, until it works against them, then they ignore it and claim Zionists are the culprit in a "wrong verdict". Get of it watcher. One of the reasons such lawsuits against Israel keep failing is because Israel follows Intl Law, and you base your opinions on your own racist bias which has no basis in Intl Law. If you dislike the Intl Law, my advice is to try and change it. Good luck, retard.
18. what nobody talks about...
tom ,   toronto, canada   (09.02.11)
nobody talks about the coalition blockade currently under way in the arabian sea, as warships regularly intercept and board vessels to check for contraband. they not only use armed boarding parties, but they also seize ships and cargoes, in international waters. with no whiny media or leftist "protesters" anywhere in sight. 'cause it's every bit as legal as the israeli blockade of gaza.
