Of course you are correct. The report SHOULD HAVE BEEN intended as a neutral independent fact finding commission; however, this is Israel about which the report is talking and if you haven't noticed, any allegations of wrong doing alleged against Israel is accepted as a matter of course as guilty as charged. A case in point was the HRW's unofficial report to the HRC. HRW concluded that Israel had set up the blockade as punishment (which of course was ridiculous - Israel said very specifically it was to stop arms from being shipped into Gaza & Israel gave specific examples.) The same type of conclusions or misstatements of fact and law was also in the Goldstone report. Therefore, if the flotilla incident had occurred to any other country other than Israel - there wouldn't even have been an investigation. In fact, if anything, Turkey should have been held liable and everyone knows that.

Are u kidding me?cmon, imagine that u a soldier on the ship ok? ur friends just got down and beaten the hell up, and u r going down the rope. uve finnaly landed and ur friends r beaten up- which means their attackers r with thier backs on u. now, u wont shoot their legs right? they dont need warning, they r ALREADY attacking ur commrade, what would u do? i would shoot their backs and thats probably what happened. lets go back and say u r the one whos being attacked. uve got a side gun, will u use it? will u shoot ur attacker from close range? will u act like IDF acted? nah ur better, ull probably better, u can somehow get away from the attackers and have a drink with them. but thats just u,weve got the IDF only, not army full of u =\
