1. China Russia India and Brasil are stirring...

A shocking analysis of the damage to the global economy should Iran develop or test fire a nuclear weapon shows The threats by Iran to 1. Close the Arabian Gulf 2. Attack Saudi Kuwaiti and Emirate Oilfields 3. Trigger Shia attacks on Sunnis in Iraq 4. Trigger an all out war between Hezbollah and Israel 5. Attack US and Euro shipping in the Arabian Gulf 6. Initiate a take over of Bahrein, Emirates, Syria and Lebanon 7. Trigger increased Taliban attacks in Afghanistan First this would halt vital oil supplies to China, India Japan and other customers and send the price of oil sky high This would decimate stock markets around the world from which they might NEVER recover And the biggest losers would be export led economies whose GDPs could be reduced by as much as 50%. Put another way this could set back the amazing economic progress of Russia, China India and Brasil by up to 25 years And all because we allowed of a bunch of lunatics in Iran TO HOLD THE WORLD TO RANSOM? Inconceivable!
2. WHAT IS INCONCEIVABLE..................#1
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.02.11)
To you is not so to the business world. In order to cripple Iran's economy, variuos schemes have been devised and you better know that it has NOTHING to do with Ian's Nuclear programme. It is a political move to ensure 'safety' for a country.Iran has fought back and business as usual............or do you doubt it?
3. it's all about the election, silly!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (09.02.11)
eventually, it all boils down to this: 2012 is an american presidential election year, and obama is going to do his best to get re-elected. in the 2008 election, then candidate obama proposed a foreign policy of diplomatic "engagement" with iran, to replace george bush's confrontational approach. now, after 3 years of obama and "engagement", and then the dreaded "sanctions", iran's nuclear programme is continuing unabated, and is much closer to producing a working bomb (and missile delivery system) than ever. and so the obama administration is now shifting the emphasis (and the blame) to others, ahead of the election.

Unfortunately the lunatics in Iran are leading the country inexorably into a black hole Have you ever followed the speeches of Ahmadinejad and the RG Military? It really is an eye opener And to answer your question Israel has never made any threats to Irans existence but weve threats to Israel and the Jewish People from Ahmadinejad by the bucket load! The Ahmadinejad Entitys objectives are clear. The creation of a Persian Empire from Afghanistan to Egypt, the destruction of Israel and the Jewish People, the destruction of USA and Western Europe, the subjugation of Sunni Islam, control of Saudi Oil....hardly moves to instill confidence..or friendly cheers!

Oh, get real. Iran's economy is circling the bowl. The world's second largest oil producer that endures several hours without electricity on a daily basis. The world's second larges oil producer where an astonishing number of people have no indoor plumbing. You people are a joke. The U.S. -- or Israel -- or both -- can trash you in a heartbeat. Don't you ever forget it. But -- the U.S. has coaxed the Chinese to back off. Who's going to pick up the slack, hmm?
7. IN THE LAST 3 YEARS OR SO.............#6
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.02.11)
If someone were to read your talk-back about Iran,he or she would have thought Iran,as a country,is already finished.Much to your disliking nothing of that sort has happened and the country continues with its activities as usual. The fact that what you are trying to achieve is not happening and thus your total diversion on subject being discussed.Iranian economy in the bowl!!!You are demonstrating nothing but sheer hate.Your knowledge about Iran is rudimentary as I said it once.

"Activities as usual?" Oh! You mean chopping off hands; stoning women to death and hanging people from jib cranes. Wow. You must be SOOOO proud.
9. GETTING RID OF CRIMINALS..........
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.02.11)
Is and will remain in practice irrespective of what you think, unlike,of course, your favourite state, where rapists and other thieves who have managed to get away.No need to mention names,do we,Sarah? China's annual trade exceeds 40 billion dollars with Iran.Stopping few contracts here and there will hardly matter.............we call it cosmetic changes, like the way Germany and Switzerland did last year. What else do you want to know about the Iranian normal economic activities,Sarah?Very soon,Argentina and Brazil will join hands and some more investment(joint) with Venezuela will keep Iran's economy in proper shape.Since March this year OPEC's report indicates increase in daily output of crude oil by 50,000 barrells. What else do you want to know.Don't think readers are daft and not know what is going on in reality,Sarah.high time you gave up your imaginary vision of Iran and come to terms with the ground reality.
10. #9 Why is Iran's economy in such bad shape?
Cynthia ,   USA   (09.03.11)
Inflation and unemployment at 40%. Rising poverty. Instead of solving domestic problems, Iran is over extended and remains import dependent, particularly on China.
