1. I wonder if now Palestinians would be to blame?
Brad ,   USA   (09.05.11)
Let's bet how many people here will say that it was Palestinians that torched their mosques. This is reminiscent on some other times, when Jews were to blame that they torched synagogues to blame others. But I think it was in Europe?
2. Torched Mosque
Bruria   (09.05.11)
I call BS. How is it that an Israeli vehicle is attacked if even approaches any Arab village, yet windows breaking, and burning tires (have you ever smelled burning tires) do not attract any attention? Please...
3. arab lies, corrupt "un-supreme" court stole Jewish homes.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.05.11)
This is what you get when traitorous "peace now" back stabbers provoke lying arabs to steal Jewish land and the terrorist loving anti-Semetic court kisses the deal.
4. Good!
Wise Saba ,   Ma'agalim   (09.05.11)
I have no problem with this action
5. Not surprising at all.
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.05.11)
you know, Judaism is a religion of "peace and tolerance" !!!
6. torching mosque
jan ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.05.11)
I don't believe it! Think about it, a goup of Jews entering Nablus without getting caught and LYNCHED! I truly believe that arabs did this themselves so as to blame the Jews! It's just another form of blood-libel!
7. Sheer mindless thuggery
Tim ,   Brighton   (09.05.11)
No better than the thugs in the recent riots in London Whoever perpetrated this should face the full force of the law
8. Any photos from all who claimed to it?
PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE   (09.05.11)
9. The thugs who did this
Adam ,   Israel   (09.05.11)
Be they Palestinian or Settlers (more than likely the latter), are a detriment to the peace process and a disgrace to their nation. I'm a vehement supporter of Israel and of the peace process, but if this was conducted by the settlers, it does nothing but contribute to the acrimony and push us further from understanding. If you think the land is yours, defend your homes, but don't you dare defile others. What kind of God do you serve that supports this kind of hateful retribution against people who aren't even to blame for your homes being razed. Stay home and pray you useless fanatics.
10. Salma "PALESTINE"
David ,   Haifa, Israel   (09.05.11)
this coming from a "person" whose "people" slit the thoats of babies. "Palestinians" will be cut off of food, water, power and aid on Sept 20. ready for it?
11. No alternative to UN Bid
Nour ,   One-State   (09.05.11)
UN Bid is an instrument to protect Palestinian lives and property. For once, ICC/ICJ rulings will have to be respected and adhered to. Despicable acts like these should not and will not go unpunished.
12. Great investigative reporting - only source is Arab - again
Rebecca ,   Modiin   (09.05.11)
Why did ynet not go speak to the near by "settlements"? Couldn't be bothered. Like previous posts have pointed out, there are so many holes in this story but of course the loony left with scream "settlers" and some nice Jewish kids will be arrested and detained for as long as the loony left courts can manage, but if the police only look at the "settlers" they'll again not find any evidence, because you know, kids that age, they're so good at hiding evidence.
13. Despicable
RichInBoston ,   Boston USA   (09.05.11)
This is an ugly, hateful act that is counter to Jewish values. We don't burn books or houses of worship. We respect all religions regardless or any political agenda, This is despicable.
14. At 1
Sam   (09.05.11)
How right you were when you post your talkback. As someone said before, and this is the religion of peace?
15. Salma no 5

JUDAH THE LION   (09.05.11)
UN already protecting Arabs Terror & violence. Babalestinians will benefit NOTHING in September.
17. If indeed my fellow Jews did this .....
Daniel ,   Toronto, Canada   (09.05.11)
..... this is despicable. Remember, only people who doubt the Truth about their own religion, consciously or subconsciously, denigrate and destroy other religions. Baruch Hashem.
18. those Palestinians must stop razing of structures at Migron
observer ,   Egypt   (09.05.11)
19. Oh, we've seen this before
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.05.11)
The ersatz "Palestinians" torched their own mosque, simply so that they could point a blaming finger at Israel. They've done it before, just as we know they have in the past trashed their own cemeteries. These people have been known to use their own women, children and elderly as human shields. There appears to be no depths to which they will not sink. No worries. Soon they will no longer be our headache. And the written Hebrew is some of the most puerile I have ever seen; clearly written by an Arab.
20. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.05.11)
Duh. Here's a news flash: the act was not committed by Jews. So please save your righteous indignation for the Arabs. They're the guilty ones; of that I am beyond certain. They've done it before.
21. To: No. 5
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.05.11)
Don't pat yourself on the back just yet. Yours is a religion that condones slitting the throats of five members of a sleeping family -- including three children; one of them a three-month old infant. Care to discuss blowing up buses? Care to discuss blowing up restaurants and nightclubs? Or school buses? Yeah. I didn't think you did. You don't have a religion, chica, you have a cult. A walking, talking Manson family. You must be SOOO proud.
22. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.05.11)
LOL! And when we annex Judea and Samaria and send your Arab asses packing to Jordan ..... what are you going to do then? Please --- just give us a reason to put the final nail in the ersatz "Palestinian" coffin. Contemplate the strong likelihood that you people torched your own mosque. You've done it before -- well documented -- as well as trashing your own cemeteries. "Despicable acts like these should not and will not go unpunished." Coming from the likes of you, that's rich. What are you going to do? Slit the throats of a few more sleeping three-month old infants. Well -- stick with what you know, I guess. Pigs.
23. To: Daniel at No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.05.11)
Your fellow Jews did not do this. Count on it. People with a long history of dying to rescue the Torah from a burning synagogue do not visit this on anyone. Just the way people with a long history of enduring desecrated graves and destroyed tombstones do not do that. Guess which "people" appear to have no qualms? Wouldn't those be the same people who hide behind women, children and the elderly? Not Jews, Daniel. Not Jews. Who does that leave?
24. Disagree
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.05.11)
To those who say Jews 'could not' have done this, I am sorry to remind that every group has it's 'rotten apples'. You can disagree if it was right or wrong (and each side will accuse the other of being wrong) but their is no reason why Jews 'could not' have done this. I fall in with those describing this as a shande; shame on those who did this, especially knowing how they would feel if this was done to a synagogue. Yes, this has been done to synagogues, but this was not the reason for the action.
25. just look at the arabs record on Jewish holy sites
zionist forever   (09.05.11)
Assuming this was done by Jews whilst its something to be condemned lets remember the arabs don't have a very good record for respecting Jewish holy places. Between 1949 - 1967 arabs would urinate at the Kotel. In 2000 the arabs smashed up Josephs Tomb. In 2005 when the arabs were given control of Gaza the first thing they did before trashing the hot houses was burn down all the synagogues. In 2008 they tried to burn down Josephs Tomb. The PA has also said they want to build homes for arabs at the Kotel. The arabs also try to prevent Jews praying at Temple Mount. Before 1967 Jews were prevented from praying at the Kotel. After 1967 Israel wanted to set up a syangogue next to the mosque at the Mechpella cave and the arabs tried to stop it. With UN endorsement the PA has now declared Rachels Tomb to be a mosque and banned non Muslims praying there.
26. Don't Care Who Did It
babawawa ,   new york, usa   (09.05.11)
The Muslim outrage rings a bit hollow after what they do to everyone else's houses of worship. Once again, they can dish it but they can't take it. Too bad.
27. #24 I agree with you
observer ,   Egypt   (09.05.11)
Palestinians shouldn't have razed the houses of peaceful settlers at Migron. They should have shouted only settlers land robber.
28. Salma @ 5
