There are many good Turks. I have no animosity toward their people. They are natural allies. However, the US remains strongly pro-Israeli and has for decades. In fact, every poll shows overwhelming US support for Israel. As Turkey chooses war and confrontation with Israel, I can guarantee that they will be viewed with hostility by the US government and people. This is a very self-defeating strategy that leads Turkey nowhere. In this upcoming elections, you can be certain that Turkey will be heavily criticized and distanced by US leaders. This will increase over time. They were be economic and military consequences for this.
