I agree with you regarding the past and the dangers Israel is facing today. But Europe is not the Middle East and 2011 is not 1933. You can't mix everything together, even if parallels can be seen. The majority of Muslims in Europe are peaceful and the opposite doesn't become true just because people keep repeating it on and on and on. And I would still like to know what "to get rid of" means - technically speaking.

The Swedish government may find it more cost-effective, instead of paying what sounds like a periodic fee to ensure the safety of Jews, to pay the Jews themselves a severance of some kind and to provide them with transportation for their families and household effects to Israel. Sweden should be able safely to assume that, given their demographics (500k Muslims to 20k Jews), the contribution made to Sweden by their new Muslim community should be more able to make up for the loss of the Jews. 25 times more able, in fact. That's how it works, right? The Jews are a small minority that costs money to keep safe, while the Muslims are a far larger minority, and therefore should more able to contribute to society. Try it, dear Sweden. Pay the Jews to leave. Then you can concentrate on enjoying what gracious guests the Muslims can be, how pronounced an effect they can have on your generous nation's economy, education and yes, even security. (note to the dear reader: regrettably, there is no scarcasm font)
