1. Turkish authorities making up stories!
Maurice ,   Montreal   (09.05.11)
Israeli airport authorities have been questioning travelers for years now for security reasons and has been very effective in thwarting terrorist attacks. There has been no different treatment for Turkish travelers! I travel every year to Israel with a Canadian passport, and I am submitted to the same sort of tiring but necessary questioning and search every time. If israel had been treating Turkish travelers in a humiliating way as described by the Turkish authorities, Turkey would have reacted a long time ago! The fact that Turkey reacts NOW is a clear indication that this is another PETTY reaction of the Erdogan government which has been once again humiliated in front of the world by the recent UN report which finds the Gaza blocade LEGAL!
2. To n° 1, Maurice
Marcela Araújo ,   Brazil   (09.05.11)
You are right. :)
3. @Maurice
ben ,   jerusalem   (09.05.11)
An aide at the Ministry of Interior has already confirmed that Turks are subjected to greater security than other countries, especially since the span with Ankara began last week. Check other new sources; these aren't the full facts.
4. Hasbara
Istanbuler ,   Istanbul / TR   (09.05.11)
Had to visit Israel through Ben Gurion 2 times a decade ago when there was no problem between Israel and Turkey. I know very well how they make ethnical discriminations, how those ignorant , unexperienced youngsters of 18-20 years clueless of any PR knowledge treat people , keep you waiting for hours after taking your passport, ask repeatitive questions prepared by people who are even more dumber than them. Whom should I believe now , myself or some airport manager pushing his hasbara ? I never visited that place called Israel afterwards,. My advice to all Israeli people ; if you did not like it , then you dont come here as well. .
5. feel the humilation......
Palestinian ,   Jerusalem   (09.05.11)
what the turkish authority did to the israeli passengers is being practised on palestinians from east jerusalem or from israel for a long time when travelling through ben gurion airport these procedures r more of humilation rather than security checks ...did u feel the humilation we used and still feel when travelling??!!!
6. somebody check Erdogan's pecker: my guess it's tiny...
tom ,   tel aviv   (09.05.11)
7. Everybody undergoes this in Israeli airports...
European ,   Jerusalem/Denmark   (09.05.11)
@Palestinian in jerusalem, I really doubt you are a special case. I'm from Northern Europe and was taken aside by security as soon as I stepped off the plane. They questioned me, searched my handbags, and then followed me to pickup my luggage and searched every piece of that. The security is tight, and I felt a bit humiliated and shocked but reality is that the security they have works. They have a golden track record and in the end I dont begrudge them my mistreatment. Maybe you should get your buddies to stop doing terrorist attacks when Israel has been kind enough to allow you to live in their land, and supply all of your resources, and have never terrorized you, and, and, and.... I dont begrudge Israel one bit. Especially considering how lopsided the media is that always blames them - because they (the media) are so afraid of telling the truth since our countries have been invaded by muslims who turn violent at the slightest hint of an "insult". (If the truth is insulting, thats your fault, by the way - not the person saying it.)
8. to# 5 "pali"
Marcelo ,   Berlin / DE   (09.05.11)
it would be different if you wouldn't like to kill every single jew in Israel and swore to send all jews into see...what you have is only what you wanted since the '20s, do you remember the hebron massacre perpetrated by you? buses blowing up, discos, restaurants, and so on...pathetic pals...
9. TURKISH AIRLINES !!
Mark ,   t.a.Israel   (09.05.11)
BOYCOT THE TURKISH AIRLINES SINCE IT WAS NOT ABLE TO DEFEND THE TOURISTS ON HIS BOARD !! IN TOURISM IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE WELL BEING OF THE TOURIST IS IMPERATIVE !
10. Advise Accepted
Rimona ,   Israel   (09.05.11)
Istambuler, I accepted you advice and cancelled my vacation in Turkey.
11. B-G Airport and personnel
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark   (09.05.11)
I have said many times before and I'll like to say it again. The whole procedure of going thru' Immigration and Customs sucks. The whole staff should go on a course for courtesy and Politeness in Denmark , or even Germany. Learn how to treat passengers properly. In case that it is too expensive try Jordan (your neighbor) and see how nice the services are.
12. #5 cut the crap!!!
Natan   (09.05.11)
Israelis do not blow up planes and buses and shopping centers nor do they fire missiles intocities to inflict civilian deaths.

almost 50 million foreign people visit Turkey in every years. who cares jews? we already got tons of tourists. stay at your homes with arabs:))
15. (5) from Jerusalem
tiki ,   belgium   (09.05.11)
Your problem and that of all the Arabs & Muslim's is their ' 'Humiliation Complex'. You're completely 'obsessed with it! Without all the frustrated Arab Muslims fuming around, spreading their hate, looking to revenge anything & everything, this world would be a friendlier and a 'much more peacefull place. You should try it sometimes.
16. Istambuler
Israeli Importer ,   Tel-Aviv   (09.06.11)
I have just cancelled my order for ladies & mens wear worth tens of thousands of USD. I sent the order to China. No more Imports from Turkey. BOYCOTT TURKEY. DO NOT BUY TURKISH PRODUCTS
17. Israel totally lacks credibility on this issue!
Dovid ,   Los Angeles   (09.06.11)
There are so many complaints, including by prominent guests arriving for conferences, there are videos of Israeli security guards too. Can you imagine how they treat a swarthy Turk with a Muslim name?
18. Boycott Rugs and Cigars
Noah Lev ,   HollywoodUSa   (09.06.11)
We Jews should turn our backs on Turks (Muslims) whenever we have the opportunity, and show them our good side. Turkey sells rugs, in our country...boycott them and all other Turkish products. I am against any Jew/Christian touring in Turkey however. Who need them anyway? Jews should go to countries that treat them with dignity, reverence and acceptance. Turkey is just trying to irritate Israel and world Jews. What if the plane had US tourists..Jewish? Is this, "Jews to the right" all over again? 25,000 Jews in Turkey, must get out of that Muslim country ASAP. Until Turkey acts responsibly, we must boycott all stores that import their goods. Once month should be boycott Turkey day. If the Greeks are more favorable..lets go to Athens to spend our dollars and Shekels....Re: Genocide charges...we must push to have the charge approved by our Congress once and for all. Turkey is siding with the devil...and has become a heathen nation.
19. Retaliation
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (09.06.11)
Turkey proved not to be a democracy if a they decide to punish people for the acts of others.
20. Nr 14, Hakan the Ottoman
(09.06.11)
We understand your point: you don't like jews nor arabs.
21. Airport security for Arab travellers
F ,   A'dam, NL   (09.06.11)
I am originally from Iraq and, when I travelled to Israel, the security personnel treated me with utmost respect. When I landed they interviewed me for 1,5 hours en when I returned they checked by luggage more than the others. I have no problems with that because I understand the security threat and it doesn't keep me from visiting! I had a great time in Israel and will definitely visit again!
22. @palestinian
celine woland   (09.06.11)
do israelis force palestinian women to take off their clothes including underwear? stop lying.
23. I appreciated the security at BG-Airport
Yael Schlichting ,   Raubling - Germany   (09.06.11)
A few days ago I passed through the security at BG-Airport the first time in my life. I was about to flying back to Munich using an EL AL flight. First: I am not Halakhic Jewish. Even though my believe is Jewish I am a descend from an ancient German tribe. All I can say is, that all personnel at BG-Airport was outstandingly friendly and all did their utmost to make the security as convenient as possible. I also could see, that the security personnel was working under high pressure. The workload was obviously high and still everybody was friendly! We must accept, that there are security needs which arise from Arab/Muslim terror activities. This constant threat since many decades lead to the development of an effective security system at BG-Airport of which I knew in advance. Actually everybody knows about the security issues. So why wonder? No stupid questions! Everybody does a great job! I felt save and I bet I was not the only one! We all know about the game the Erdogan-Administration is playing. It's simply childish and indecent!
24. #16 we are crying as a nation for the cancellation
Emre ,   Istanbul   (09.06.11)

25. Don't go to or through Turkey!! End of Story!!

26. Do As We Say, Not As We Do?
Nite Owl ,   In A City   (09.06.11)
Don't you just hate it when people treat you just like you treat them? When Israelis do it, it's called needed security but when Turks do it, it's called humiliation.
27. the answer
viva ataturk ,   kurdistain   (09.06.11)

28. NO It is Israel twists the fact they are masters of it, Gate
Mark ,   USA   (09.06.11)
said today Israel is a very ungreatfuk alliy of USA, forces will line up against Israel from now on, time Israel reespect international law and order
29. Ask yourselves why.
Madeleine ,   Rehovot Israel   (09.06.11)
If palestinian, and in a broader sense Moslems, didn't have a track record of hijacking planes, blowing up planes and people, suicide bombing and a alot of other similar activities, Israel would not have to subject people to these measures. We have the best security in the world which unfortunately, we've learnt to do through bitter experiences. Circumstances dictate procedures. Islam is the curse of the world.
30. serves only more isolation of Israel on global level
observer ,   Egypt   (09.06.11)
