3. FISA
Mark ben Josuf ,   USA   (09.06.11)
The US has a special court that oversees wiretaps for security purposes under FISA, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. If there were no probable cause, the courts would not have approved the wiretaps. The NY Times also points out that both sides spy routinely on each other.
4. He should switch sentences with Jonathan Pollard

A secret is no longer a secret when shared with anyone. Except for my cat. I can tell him anything. Except for this feeling I have, To tell you the truth, he has been acting in a strange manner of late. Fancy collar. Premium cat food. hanging around with a silky haired Persian female. He may be compromised. Of course the US spies on Israel. Everyone spies on everyone!
12. To#6 Bill
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (09.06.11)
Wiretapping is NOT against the law as long as a warrant has been issued by the appropriate court authority. If a warrant has been issued rest assured that a long and complex series of administrative responses have been made to the legal requirements for issuance of the order and for the technical interception of telephonic and other means of data transmittal. The CIA whose fief is to operate outside the borders of the USA, is not restricted by the same restrictions as is law enforcement agencies within the US.

Chinese treatment of foreign embassies of bombarding them with radiation to cause cancer in the people who work there is not done in Washington, D.C. But there are ways to read brainwaves and translate that into thought patterns, so even being in Washington, D.C. is hazardous with such spy weaponry available.
15. The guy is as big of a loser as his grandpa!

Sarah will remain a funny girl, the question is, of what importance are you to the USA. Your presence even if you are there is not even a drop in the ocean, that is why you have never been taken seriouly, you know. By the way, it is a long time since some of us read your thesis, pls keep them coming bcos it reduces our stress through laughter. THX
17. #2 The USA Could Only Be So Lucky
World Citizen ,   the world   (09.06.11)
But we know that the #2 post is a fake. As a Jewish princess your life in the USA is much too soft to make aliyah and you might actually have to pay taxes to subsidize the settlers on the West Bank and in East Jerusalem. What would that do to your shoe allowance? Sarah you talk the talk but in reality you are a moral coward. You will never make anything but a once-a-year (when the weather is nice) holiday aliyah.

"No trust means no respect" And you want Israel to respect you enough to agree to a new "Palestine"?!
19. #14 - Rivkah, you should avoid all,
seadog1946 ,   Erie Basin, NYC   (09.06.11)
all diplomatic sites... those malicious spies may find out all of your most secret desires.
20. @2 me thinks u r not well liked around here...go 2 France!

21. How dare the US spy on an ally!
Sarah B ,   U.SA. / Israel   (09.06.11)
I'm leaving the US for good! The nerve to spy on an ally. Israel has done nothing to ever hurt america. How would the US like it if the Mossad ever spied on them? Israel would never sink so low! I curse the US
22. Shamai Leibowitz’s bizarre and malicious behavior.
Stephen in New York   (09.06.11)
I’m shocked. Having to do with being a leftist? The retrograde Marxists hate Israel and love the Islamists. That’s all one needs to know. As for the amusing American and Israeli intelligence dance –it’s said that nations have interests, not friendships and its good that Israeli and American interests most often coincide.
23. Let Sarah have her own opinion
Not Jewish American ,   NY, NY   (09.06.11)
As a non Jew American I can say without a doubt that I trust israel more than every other country In the middle east and Europe for that matter. Everyone spies on everyone, it's called intelligence gathering. There's a unit for every country. I'm not Jewish but I have alot of Jewish friends, when it comes to israel, the people there have the same morals and values as most Americans. Israel is a major strategic and crucial ally for america to have In the crazy, brutal, chaotic middle east. If there was no israel, not one of those countries would work with america. I know that sounds crazy but having a mighty israel is extremely beneficial and not only to america. Israel does alot of dirty work for america and some of those middle east countries, ie osirak reactor In 81 In Iraq, Syria 07, suez canal 56, intelligence gathering across the whole region and many more. Israel is as vital to america as much as america is Vital to israel. There's alot of things behind closed doors we don't know about. I know most won't agree but as an American catholic not Christian I strongly support israel.
24. Swap him with Pollard
Vlad   (09.06.11)
Or put him in prison for life.
25. #21: Israel is NOT an ally
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (09.07.11)
Israel is not an ally of the United States; indeed, it is a liability and heavy millstone around America's neck, which will be dumped after President Obama's reelection and when he doesn't need to pander to the Jewish vote any more. The FBI is doing its loyal duty to the United States by "bugging" the Zionist establishments in the US. I'll acknowledge this much about the Leibowitz chap: He is a decent Jew--a rare bird, indeed--who seems to care about America and despises the Zionist abomination. Too bad he had to do his job of conscience so ineptly.
26. No. 24 was misquoted
Vlad   (09.07.11)
I just read the headline, and thought Israel had arrested him. Whoops! But I still think that rather than quietly deporting captured American spies, Israel should publicly try them and sentence them to life in prsion, and offer a prisoner swap for Pollard.
27. You Posters continue to assume that #2
Rober Haymondt ,   Israel/Canada   (09.07.11)
is Sarah B. when, in fact, the impostor has continued to forge her name but is simply not clever enough to copy her style. It makes me realize that Ynet Posters are only one grade above the idiocies of Maan News. For intelligent and informed posting, go to Pajamas Media. Ynet has downgraded since Sarah B. is rarely found on here, Marcella refuses to post since she is rarely published. Brian and Terry are seen on here to a far lesser extent. In other words, the "forum" has been overtaken by the most mediocre of Readers.
28. The post at No. 2 is not mine.
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.07.11)
I always write U.S., for one thing. For another thing, my grammar and usage is impeccable, and I would have said "the U.S." not just "U.S." You people are incredibly gullible. Or stupid. Take your pick.
29. To: No. 16
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.07.11)
Wow! All that nonsensical blather over a post which was composed by someone other than myself. Don't YOU feel stupid! (If you don't; you should. You are, after all, a complete imbecile.) How hard are you laughing now? Hmm? Rolling on the floor, I bet, right?
30. To: No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.07.11)
Oh! "Moral coward?" Is THAT why I spent five years in the IDF? Is THAT why I spend six months of the year in Israel? While you do what? Sit back and guzzle beer with your good buds, while watching a meaningless football game on the brand-new TV that you spent six months' worth of wages on? You know absolutely nothing about me. It would therefore be wise for you to keep from speculating. Poor pathetical you.
