this article makes it sound like the NYPD did something bad. As number 1 said, kavod!!! the terrorists blurred the line of combatant and civilian, and they do not use the rules of war. Muslims need to stop complaining, or go back to----stan.

Americans will have to pay through their noses for their successive governments' stupidity in allowing Islamists to immigrate en masse to the US. Already, the population has had to adjust to a different life-style eg security at airports. Wait till they get Sharia law up their... Eurostan is already going down, down, down.

The NYPD was, as Noodles points out, doing their job - keeping tabs on potential sources of trouble. Set aside all that politically correct nonsense about "putting innocent people under scrutiny". Those mosques in the NY-NJ area are where the plots against the WTC, the Holland Tunnels, and (yes) the attack on Kahane were hatched, and where plots against synagogues are still being developed.

Why? Because there is no such thing as a bunch of Jewish terrorists meeting in a synagogue to hatch a plot to mass murder innocent Americans. Facts and history show that it is Islamic radicals in the past 10 years who are the biggest threat. And there are many mosques with radical agendas that stoke the fires and warp the minds of certain Muslims so that they load their SUV with explosives and try to set it off in Manhattan.

Hopefully someone or some group will take the NYPD to court and sue successfully to stop this invasion of religious privacy. Perhaps the NYPD is in cahoots with Mossad? It's worth investigating and bringing to court.

It does sound like the writer is complaining, but could you imagine if this "invasion of privacy would have taken place before 9~11? I say please check everyone out. If you are not a danger with Bad intent. Then there is nothing to worry about.

Uh, Graczek, have you noticed which religion it is whose adherents (albeit a tiny minority of them) keep saying they want to kill you and your fellow Americans? It is strange for an American resident like you to somehow the fact that it was Islamic terrorists who killed thousands of Americans and caused billions of dollars of damage. Invasion of religious privacy? Please explain how Islamic radicals slitting the throats of airplane crews and crashing the planes into buildings is not a violation of rights. And then, of course, ever since then there have been constant attempts to repeat the attacks and cause the deaths of more Americans. Good work by the American police and security forces has prevented many more attacks - not by Buddhists, not by Jews, not by Catholics, not by Hindus, not by Bahais, not by Baptists....but by Muslims.

Life in America, not just in New York, is forever changed, since the morn' of Sept 11, not just the dead and their loves ones suffered. the Living ones and the other states of America suffer the threat of life, inconvenience in flight, transport, their mind are in bondage of fear. Did you not know that numerous terror acts start from "a little radical preaching" in the mosque from some imams. especially when nowadays, you often find more lone-ranger terrorists (inspired by mosques' radical rhetoric) that act alone instead of belonging to any known terror groups. Mosques are breeding grounds for lone terrorists, which often are educated, intellectual, having solid supporting family members that do not know of their plots.
