You are the sons of Ishmael, and we are the sons of Yitzhak well if the jews are the sons of jacob son of yitzhak and the muslims sons of ishmael well jacob and his sons the israelites were living in that land 3500 years ago but ishmael and his offspring were living in saudi arabia so that land (judea and samaria) belongs to the jewish people shalom
2. one area two peoples
zichron   (09.07.11)
Whatever the constructs it will be two indiginous peoples in one ara at risk of obliteration by satanic barbarians . Together and in equality deep shelters of protection have to be built for both peoples antiballistic iron domes must proliferate and the arabs in gaza protected from primitive cruel belligerancies.
3. As soon as ...
Jules   (09.07.11)
... the PLO is out (back to Tunisia or wherever), there will be peace again. It all started when the political corpse of Arafat and his gangsters had been brought onto this land.
4. Amen
Jennie ,   ISRAEL/US   (09.07.11)
This would be a huge step to the right direction and a new era for the Israeli-Pali relationship... Sharing the love of the land and mutual goals of prosperirty,Palestinians and Jews could share some of the disputed land ... Living and working the land in peace and cooperation, side by side, would be the first spark of change towards Israelis...Lets hope, the pali leaders won't ruin this initiative...
5. What kind of Meshugaas is this article?
Israeli 2   (09.07.11)
It is an excercise in futility, Yair Altman. I know what you are trying to accomplish here. It simply won't work.
6. #4: YOU ARE DREAMING!!
Israeli 2   (09.07.11)
Wake up, Dear and know what these Palis really want. They want your PIECE not PEACE.
7. WHAT HAS TO BE DONE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.07.11)
I will never give up hope for peace. It can only be found in the hearts of men. Not a piece of paper, not just the leaders. it has to come from the people. It has start somewhere, this place is as good as any. It becomes easier and easier to be a cynic, but at the end of the day the choice is simple, peace living besides one another. Or War? So the when the rockets stop, and the people can do that, by attacking all who would launch rockets at Israel. Now that would be a true revolution for freedom. The people rise up in Gaza and throw out Hamas, then you would have peace in a month. But are the Palestinians willing to take on Hamas and be slaughtered for a few months, like the Syrians? We'll see I guess. It's what has to be done, then people will believe the Pals want peace, right now they don't.
8. Blessings
Adam Neira ,   Melb, Australia   (09.07.11)
Blessings to the good people at Eretz Shalom. All the cynics out there must ask themselves the following question... "What is the divinely mandated plan for the Holy Land ?" Those groups which best approximate the vision will be blessed. Follow the wrong path and you will be led astray. False conceptions of divine will lead to poor thoughts, actions and thus consequences for the world.
9. #1 peace
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.07.11)
Peace could have been achieved long ago if Israel had annexed Judea and Samaria and given citizenship to the Samaritan, Christian and Muslim residents. The extreme Left in Israel did not want annexation because they wanted to defeat Zionism. The day they imported Arafat is the day that peace died.
10. What's wrong with a righteous peace?
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (09.07.11)
Jews and Arabs do meet in peaceful situations in Judea & the Shomron. Hot heads are filled with the same hatred, whether from the right, left, dati, secular, anti settlers, Arabs etc. Small local steps about simple arrangements to make life easier should be encouraged. The reverse is also true in that we have to still remain viligant against our enemies. I tend to agree with #9 in that we can offer better peace arrangements from a position of strength. However, that shouldn't prevent us from having a working relationship on the ground. I've always said that the locals living in the actual area itself could affect a far more meaningful peaceful relationship than outsiders with ulterior motives.
11. Is that ol'
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (09.07.11)
Rabbi Frohman I see in the pictures? I knew he was into these projects, and as such is even on youtube, but I reckoned he retired years ago. While I don't know if the outcome of his efforts will render any benefits in the grander scheme of things or in the long run, he's still to be commended. Glad to see he's still going strong.
