1. Good for him - I'd do the same damn thing
AJS ,   Texas   (09.08.11)
2. define 'friendly country"
William ,   Israel   (09.08.11)
If the defense would have asked that question, I believe this man would have been aquitted. Egypt is nothing close to being a "friendly country", just one not in active war with Israel. Guess what - so is Iraq and no one would consider them "friendly" by any means.
3. stoned in eilat
steve   (09.08.11)
so let me get this right. A drunk guy could face 4 years inside for throwing stones at the consulate in Eilat, while an Egyptian who ripped down the Israeli flag in Cairo is a hero.
4. Stones thrown by anyone is wrong
Galutia ,   Selah   (09.08.11)
whether it be palistinians or israelis .... THE LAW IN FAIRNESS should apply eaqualy to both !
5. Should get a medal!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (09.08.11)
400,000 Israelis demonstrated last Saturday for "Social Justice" but there has never been a demonstration outside the House of Infamy - The Turkish Embassy! All is not well in demoland! Time to boycott Turkey and the produce!
6. 4 years ? Israel give me a break .....how about arresting ar
rachel ,   usa   (09.08.11)
Arabs who throw stones .....
7. He must have been stoned!
john robey ,   austin, texas   (09.08.11)
8. Hero
Eli ,   Israel   (09.08.11)
They can burn our flag in Egypt but we cant throw a stone at their flag. The Courts and the Governments are the enemy within.
9. Kol HaKavod Mr Macmill!
Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (09.08.11)
If they lock you up, you become a political prisoner of conscience. Thank you for having the courage where most of us do not have it. Respect! Egypt is not a damn friendly country. Give the idiotic appeasing propaganda a rest. No one believes that, but a few head-in-the-sand diplomats (liars), and you moronic journalists.
10. This guy is absolutely sober..
MyBrooklyn ,   NY, US   (09.08.11)
I give him credit for doing that….but we have mass of morons protesting throughout Israel out of boredom. This guy is true patriot. We indeed have enemy within..Those so called jews self hating jews will find any justification to give up our homeland
11. There should have been no embassy there to throw stones at.
S ,   UK   (09.08.11)
12. Make a Facebook page for him
Richard S. ,   Miami, USA   (09.08.11)
Someone should make facebook page for his heroic act. And everyone should "like" and "join" his page.
13. Israel is a resposible country
aiman ,   jersey   (09.08.11)
As an Egyptian I said the moron who climbed up the israeli embassy in cairo a couple of weeks back should have been arrested and jailed but the moron the last I heard got a job out of the whole ordeal. In this case I dont think the guy deserves 4 years but he should be punished as well.
14. in Israel, vandalism isn't heroism.
ygalg ,   israel   (09.08.11)
unlike in brainwashed Egypt where wrongs get rewarded.
15. #4 - Throwing a stone at a building wall....
William ,   Israel   (09.08.11)
and throwing a stone on a person to hurt them are two very different things. The "palestinians" throw stones on people with the intent of injury and death. This guy threw stones at a building to show disgust. No different than an Arab throwing a shoe (except again, they do it to hurt and humiliate people). I believe Israel is over-reacting to this in order to appease the scum next door in Egypt. This guy shouldn't get more than 100 hours of community service and 3 years probation.
16. #3 - this shows two things...
William ,   Israel   (09.08.11)
that Arabs value violence, especially against Jews... and that Israel still succumbs to Arab violence and over-reacts in an attempt to be loved by everyone. This guy shouldn't get more than probation and community service. His intent was never to harm a person, nor even damage property (as he was aiming at the wall, not windows).
17. #13 - sadly, it's those types of rewards...
William ,   Israel   (09.08.11)
that encourage such attacks on Israel and Jews everywhere. Take away the incentive to a good job (in such a bad economy), large cash payments to your family, and city squares being named after attackers, and most attacks will dry up.
18. Exactly, how hypocritical is that?!
Gabi ,   TA, Israel   (09.10.11)
