A DNA test won't be helpful, because even when people undergo a full normal sex change their DNA stays the same. Furthermore, there are cases of people being born with atypical sex chromosomes (something other then XX or XY) and of people who are born with one set of chromosomes but exibit more traits of the other sex. Sex and gender are not as simple as we are often led to believe.

So I will refer to her as "she" and "her," but primarily to avoid confusing anyone, not an expression of my own ideology. (2) We don't know her name, so I am calling her "K." (3) K is a woman who functions sexually as a man. I suppose this means her sexual partner is a woman, a woman who obviously could not have impregnated her. So how did K become pregnant? It could have been by artificial insemination. I don't see how it could have been by sexual intercourse with a man, since her (K's) parts don't allow for that -- unless whatever operation was performed on her did somehow allow for it. To me it's a mystery. Can anyone explain it? (4) If K keeps her baby and raises it, it will certainly have identity problems, and if K loves her baby, which she ought to, I hope she will try to help the baby deal with them.
