1. Thank G-d we'll be there!
AB ,   TheRock   (09.14.11)
Rav Nachman said 'my Rosh Hashana is above everything - no-one should be missing' He is the best lawyer to have on this judgment day.
2. 2000 years we dreamed of praying at the kotel
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (09.14.11)
Why is Uman better than the Kotel? Because these people have missed the difference between holiness and excitement. The kotel is the holiest place, period. Uman generates a lot of excitement. On Rosh HaShanah, to go to Uman is a smack in the face of the holiness of Eretz Yisroel, Jerusalem and the Kotel. Any one who learns gemora knows that the lands of the nations are under the influence of the constellations while the Land of Israel is under G-d's watchful eye from the beginning of the year (Rosh HaShanah) to the end (Rosh HaShanah) !
3. Idol worship
The Last Zionist ,   Eilat   (09.14.11)
These "holy" people leave their families with nothing on the holidays. The man whose grave they are worshiping must be spinning.
4. All thats missing is a Golden Calf
Haim ,   TA   (09.14.11)
5. #2 The zohar and the gemara says
AB ,   TheRock   (09.14.11)
that where a tzaddik is burried it is Eretz Yisrael. Secondly, you will note that even though Eretz Yisrael is the holiest land in the world - not everybody who lives there feels its holiness - that is because it is too holy and they don't have the tools to contain that. Uman is to holiness (due to the tzaddik's presence) what aramaic is to hebrew. It is a bridge. And people there suddenly come in touch with their souls, something they couldn't in Eretz Yisrael. Having said that - does it not make sense to you that a tzaddik KNOWS better than you and I could any day what Eretz Yisrael is. Only when one relies on one's puny brain to weigh in on such elevated spiritual issues, one comes to the wrong conclusions.
6. Rav Nachman was correct
shushan mussa ,   lapland norwej   (09.14.11)
he went to israel saw what israel had to offer and immediately returned to the golut
7. sickos
Abrams ,   Israel   (09.15.11)
What a bunch of empty headed idiots. Thinking that even though they can smoke pot and paint walls with na nach, that Rabbi Nachman will help them get a better year. If they had brains, they would stay in Israel pray directly to G-d and not through Rabbi Nachman or JC, and work hard.
8. Uman
Jason ,   Jerusalem   (09.15.11)
Those who smoke pot and write on the walls are not what Rabbi Nachman's teachings are about. The real Bresslovers, those who dress like it and those who just live it with their hearts know that what Rabbi Nachman taught was love of God and Tfilah. He never was about miracles or supernatural. Just living with God in your life. THats the real Bresslov teachings.
9. Har Habayit is the holiest place
jonah wolf ,   modiin   (09.15.11)

11. Pray in Uman then go to work and do service in Israel.
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.16.11)
12. Nothing makes a place "holly". It is a place of memory only.
