1. When did Erdogan ever give a damn about Israel's future?
Charles ,   Paris, FRANCE   (09.13.11)
...except about its demise. In any event, he is all talk and will be unable to back up his threats militarily. Turkey has requested US predator drones -- the request was denied by the US -- because they can't even get the ten Israeli Heron drones to work ever since they expelled the Israeli technicians. It's time to free the Turkish people from their rogue government.
2. the islamic hypocricy
fad egypt   (09.13.11)
look who is talking and and to whom ? turkey is the last country to speak about human rights turkey has occupied the entire middle east and rule with the iron fist they were treating the citizens as animals turkey has butchered more than million armenians in the 20th century and is still killing the kurds and is occuping kurdistan and cyprus turkey itself is occupied by the islamic turks who came from center of asia in 1517 lets see who is listening to Mr erdogan ? they are the arabs dont understand the meaning of human rights and the answer is clear to that hypocricy is that they are all muslims shalom
3. Be Nice to Israel in order to Survive
George ,   USA   (09.13.11)
Be nice to Israel and survive. Bully Israel? Not an option. Not if fresh air and sub-boiling temperatures are preferred.
4. So is an obligation to support Kurdish independence
Marco ,   Spain   (09.13.11)
5. He wants to be the new Emperor
Rosie   (09.13.11)
He is a Jew hater and blongs in the same club as all the dictators. He wants to be in control of the region because he believes that he is going to re-establish the Ottman Empire and he will be the Emperor. He totally does not care about his people only about himself and his family and his mission is total control of the region.
6. ow nooooooo
carlosito ,   Tel Aviv - Yaffo   (09.13.11)
tov he has his kennendy momend for a 2 min.. ok and now put your' energy Factor' ion band on and relaxed ergodan. and I hope you dont do more stupid things , and shut up for a wile
7. The reality? Muslim future looks bleak.
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.13.11)
There is no Arab Spring. Supposedly "progressive" Muslim countries like Turkey are sliding backwards into the darkness of radical Islam, where rhetoric and saber rattling help to puff up leaders crushing the desire of their citizens for freedom. Israel has a strong, robust democracy and economy. The western world is coming to realize that the Palestinians are going to the UN because it's a cheap bypass to negotiations (and with no peace between Fatah and Hamas, the Pals couldn't sign a peace treaty if they wanted to). The Palestinians are still there saying they have a nation in waiting, but their hand is out for more donations. But look closely at who is paying for Palestine. The Muslims countries? The Arab countries? Is Turkey putting their money where Erdogan's mouth is? Of course not. The Palestinians continue to hoodwink the west into footing the bill, while the filthy oil-rich Arab dictator-kings laugh all the way to the bank. And the spineless western "leaders" will simply bow down again and be speechless and gonad-less when it comes to calling a spade a spade and getting the Muslim countries to make peace instead of war, and to build countries instead of ripping them apart. Turkey is no exception, with its obviously aggressive politics and policies that are turning it into the leader of despots, not of enlightened people.
8. A Kurdish state is not an option but an obligation."
Dan Kelso   (09.13.11)
So is recognizing the Turkish genocide of 1.5 million Armenians an obligation. So is recognizing the ethnic cleasing of Cypriots by Turkey an obligation.
9. Security and Time
zichron   (09.13.11)
Will the Palestinian People accept that nearly all refugees from the 1947 conflict be settled in a non belligerant palestinian state with a 1;1 land swap east jerusalem to palestine and intenationalization of the Holy Basin as a interim one hundred year status before the one state for two peoples.
10. Question
Mary Snow ,   USA   (09.13.11)
Just a simple question is It possible this so called leader of Turkey is being paid by Iran? just a question and a opinion.
11. A liar
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.13.11)
Israel (mistakenly in my opinion) already recognized the "Palestinians". The issue is that the Arabs recognize Israel's existence, but not right to exist. As for Israel's "aggression": every war has been started by the Arabs intent on exterminating the Jews. Even the current problems with Turkey started when Erdogan was offended when Israel tried to defend herself against Hamas genocide.
12. Recognition of a Palestinian state
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (09.13.11)
Is the recognition of a Kurdish state also an obligation? Just wondering.
13. I thought Turkey already recognized Jordan.
Dan Kelso   (09.13.11)
I thought Turkey already recognized Jordan.
14. Erdogan behaving like Nasser
Brod ,   USA   (09.13.11)
Erdogan is behaving like Nasser. When the crunch comes it will be Erdogan that would be defeated. And the Turkish people will turn against him.
15. Lip service
Johnny ,   Tampere, Finland   (09.13.11)
Islamist leader Erdogan is giving lip service in order to gain a nice fame among fellow Muslims (especially Islamists) around. However, he seems to be interested in Israeli gas and oil in the Mediterranean. The result of this all will be devastating to Turkey. I don't mind Islamists but feel pity for those in Turkey who think with their own brains.
16. So nice that the more he babbles the quieter we respond.
Rebecca ,   Modiin   (09.13.11)
let him rant and rave. Either he'll get over it and all will be good again, or he'll explode and we'll have to deal with it. Nothing we can say or do at the moment will set the outcome. His lunacy is in his own hands.
17. Does he think that the world is blind... ?
Jonathan   (09.13.11)
The whole world knows what the Hamas is after... and why Israel has to look into anything that gets in and out of Gaza. We see the number of missiles shot daily at Israel from Gaza. What kind of a stupid game is played here? Is that the man who believes that the European Union will allow him to join ? It's a real shame for the poor Turkish people... who have such a leader.
18. Unstable Arab Governments
Richard ,   Boca Raton USA   (09.13.11)
This is such a crock of BS. Israel is surrounded with Arab countries that want to see it destroyed and its people killed. What the hell is Israel supposed to do? Ask for a Love Fest? Israel has to do whatever is necessary to protect its citizens!! These Arab governments are so instable that at any time war could break out with Israel. Obamaa better grow a set because the FIT IS GOING TO HIT THE SHAN very soon. The Arabs have to be told that if you mess with Israel, you mess with the USA. Unfortunately, not with Barack HUSSEIN Obama. The USA and Israel are in deep trouble if Obama gets 4 more years.
19. Erdogan is another reason AGAINST ''Palestine''
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (09.13.11)
The recent actions by Erdogan & Co. show us that any independent Palestinian entity would fast become a pawn to be used against us by Turkey. Could we prevent Turkey from arming ''Palestine''? Could we prevent Turkey from stationing troops, even aircraft, in Palestine? It's obvious that we could not. So, it's not bad enough that Iran will be stirring the soup, now we'll have Turkey & it won't be for Thanksgiving. The Palestinians are morons, for 100 years, they have let themselves be pawns to the Arab states. It's not reasonable to assume they won't follow the same pattern in the future.
20. FALSE MORAL EQUIVALENCE: KURDS & PALESTINIANS
Steve Feuerstein ,   Bronx, NYC   (09.13.11)
There is ostensibly no commonality between the rightful claims of the 35 million Kurds, including the multiple attempts of genocide which they have endured over the past 100+ years, and those fallacious claims made by the Palestinian Arab Muslims occupying Judea & Samaria and other holy Jewish lands. In short, the Kurds have been the tragic recipients of genocidal policies whereas the Palestinian Arab Muslims have been the highly motivated perpetrators of genocidal policies against the Jews. Let’s not create an unnecessary false moral equivalence which only ends up undermining our own 3,300 year right to the Land of Israel.
21. Meanwhile, this gutless monkey won't even go to Gaza..
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (09.13.11)
because he's afraid of getting assassinated.
22. Erodan has lost his mind
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (09.13.11)
Israel aggressive? He sent IHH terrorists to attack and KILL Israeli soldiers. He closed Turkey's airspace to Israel aircraft, both civil and military and today an Israel liner was threatened by Turkish naval vessels! He has used the word "war" and we are the aggressor? Turkey is again the "Sick man of Europe"!
23. increasingly tired of these lying people
bernard ross ,   st anns bay, jamaica   (09.13.11)
All of these issues just reiterate the millenia old truth that the jewish people must rely only on themselves and distrust the other. This means dedication to a strong military and resource independence. If necessary it means capturing the resources of the jew killers, wherever they are.
24. Erdgayman Turnip
paul ,   Jerusalem Israel   (09.13.11)
What ever your name is you can kiss my .... Take us on and you will be eradicated!!!!!!
25. Erdogan
Natan   (09.13.11)
Since when did Erdogan or the Turkish people give a damn about the Palestinians?? It is very obvious that Erdogan is using the recent events in the Arab world to elevate himself as the "new leader" of the Arab\Muslim world. What pisses him off more than anything else is Israel's refusal to engage in his rhetoric . Israel is a civilized country that can recognize a barking dog and refuses to join Erdogan barking campaign. The message to Erdogan is very simple: "keep on barking like a dog and it is ok as long as you only bark. But just make sure you don't bite....
26. Why couldn't he visit Gaza? Who stopped him?
Rebecca ,   Modiin   (09.13.11)
Egypt?
27. Erdogan is not in God s plan ....pure Islamic retoric
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (09.13.11)
For Erdogan to say that God included turkey in His plan ,this is the typical Islamic retoric;Islamist have been choosen,Israel not... Islamist retoric never changed:unfortunately God choose Israel in the past,in the present and in the future and Erdogan present might be a risk .... Has soon has God s patience is finished with Turkey....
28. IT'S TIME TO ACT
American ,   Los Angeles   (09.13.11)
The US congress should recognize the Armenian Genocide and issue a ultimatum on turkey with regards of the human right violatiions and killing of journalists, also Cyprus and kurds
29. NATO should start to worrie about Turkey behavior ..
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (09.13.11)
NATO members should watch carefully Turkish behavior and start telling Erdogan "the rules of a NATO membership" ,or kick him out... His arrogance has to come to an end...he is a real danger for the ME
30. Erdogan! Remember ...
LAWRENCE ,   UK   (09.13.11)
