1. fair enough
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.14.11)
This is fair enough if two things happen. First, the High Court rules that Jews are allowed to live in Arab cities and villages. More importantly, the police start protecting Jews. We all remember how the police stood idle and the High Court was silent when Arab extremists ethnically cleansed Pki'in of Jews.
2. and yom kipur? will they be able not to use cars
ghostq   (09.14.11)
more than religious date also memorial date for those who were killed, tricky indeed.
3. Courts support Arab Jihad Infiltration
Paul ,   Jerusalem   (09.14.11)
Integration and the holy Zionist delusion of co-existence is impossible with Arabs. Let them convert or swear before a Rabbinical court that they have no Jihad intentions, acknowledge Islam is a fraud and accept not kill or steal.
4. Mabrouk : )
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.14.11)
in democratic societies the high Court will not interfere in such matters.

7. What about the Jewish guy who was lynched and house burned
Observer ,   World   (09.14.11)
down when he tried to live in an arab populated town. The physical violence (so way beyond mere emotional issues) lies with arab communities. Jews cant walk through without concern for their very lives. Like a black man walking through a kkk rally in 1890s louisiana,....at night
8. tit-for-tat
Marcelo ,   Berlin / DE   (09.14.11)
I hope, these arabs are treated as much as goog as arabs would treat jews in Lebanon, Syria and Ramallah...
9. and so it begins. internal terrorism.
danny ,   jerusalem   (09.14.11)
10. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.14.11)
Does that mean that I can move to Umm al Fahm? Of course you do realize that my family would have a shelf life of exactly ten minutes were I to try .... So your explanation would be that while I do not have the right to live amongst you (not that I would really want to), you have a perfect right to live amongst us. How do you explain that?
11. #3 Paul
Michael ,   Haifa   (09.14.11)
You appear to be a nice, decent, warmhearted, tolerant, intelligent and democratic sort of fellow
12. That is the wrong signal and a wrong
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.14.11)
decision, as Mr. Abbas wants all Jews out of Judea and Samaria...!!!!!!!! This is SELF DESTRUCTIVE....
13. It's about time
Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (09.14.11)
Israel stops discriminating and differentiating Arabs between Jews. Israel is for Israelis ! Period.
14. And the Left screams when Jews move
Ben Yisrael ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (09.14.11)
int Jewish owned property in arab neighborhoods!!!
15. #10 you need to ask yourself first
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.14.11)
does your "humility" allows you to move to the Umm al-Fahm ? !!!!
16. Rakefet is NOT a town
Rebecca ,   Rakefet   (09.14.11)
it is a hilltop village of 170 families, indeed we have an admission commitee, because to take on a way of life in a village- that was technicaly built from scratch by a group of young jewish enthusiasts who wanted to add jewish villages to the galil in the 80's -means a lot of things, the village has vouluntary committees that help the day to day life-including festivals, celebrations, the young education system and more. We are not racist but we do see how the arabs (our neighbours from the TOWN of Sachnin and all around) behave around us and when we come to their area, and even tho' this coup[le are probably different, it is very hard to accept this decision that is trying to compare us to a city suburb-it is nothing like it!!
17. unique characteristics
Maurice ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (09.14.11)
what are "unique characteristics"? Is it religious observance? Is it socio-economic status? Is it marital status? Is it ethneticity? Is it citizenship status? Is it height, color, weight, physique? Is it social relationship with existing residents?
18. End the segregation
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (09.14.11)
Israeli-arabs and israeli jews should be free to live in any community in Israel. New residents should respect and become part of the community not try to change it or enforce their way of life.
19. 10 Rebecca # 16
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (09.14.11)
I'm confident once you get to know the new family on the block you will realize they are as nice and kind as your jewish neighbors. And will have no concern about them living in your community.
20. WAKE Up Israel Get rid of the enemy within!!
Eli ,   Israel   (09.14.11)
The high court in Israel is the most dangerous body for the survival of the Jewish State. It's time to fire and prosecute all those foreighn traitors, yes they are all influenced by foreign powers. Let the Israeli people decide who sits on the supreme court.
21. Democracy 1, Racism 0
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.14.11)
... Let us hope that this will be the rule and not the (headline-grabbing) exeption!
22. One more victory
oliver ,   Eilat   (09.14.11)
One more victory against sanction racism against arabs, well done
23. #6 salma - you have it backwards
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.14.11)
It is precisely because Israel is democratic that the High Court was involved. Unlike Hamas and the PA where there is a great lack of democracy, and that is an understatement. As you well know.
24. to no.11
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (09.14.11)
Yeah, He is a nice guy, Michael..And Pauls eyes are wide open. He sees what is really going on and "smells" the new initiative of the palis...And he is right...Time is not ripe yet to have the "Kumbaya"with them.. Very far from it..The Israeli arabs are strong supporters of chamas, but its in their best interest to stay in Israel..And why wouldn't they ? They enjoy freedom and equality, they are even represented in our Parlament and using our democracy to commmit treasons against Israel by supporting and cooperating with our enemies. Don't you see, what their mission is ? Why are we so gollible, forgiving and mercyful to our enemies ? Why would they respect us, when we Do Not Respect and Value Ourselves, look out for Our Interests First and stand by our own People, take the side of our own... !
25. to no.22- What a victory ?!
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (09.14.11)
Isn't it nice...Very happy for you,oliver...Your eyes too, are wide shot...What sanctions, what racism are you talking about ? Are you appologizing for being a citizen of a sovereign State, that is being rocketted daily by the same people, who are moving today to a jewish orthodox community, close to to the one, where the Fogel Family was masacred ? Did those people recognize our right to exist ? Or accepted our legitimacy ? Did the kassams stop flying into Israel ? do you even have a clue ? I am not a cruel person. I respect every human being and love to assist to all in need. But I am not on a suicidal mission...And you better get thinking and asking questions, Oliver in Eilat, before it will be too late again...

27. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.14.11)
You did not answer my question.
28. Arabs are free to live with Jews
LION OF JUDAH   (09.14.11)
Why should we Jews accept the Arabs to live with us,while the Palestinians are saying any future Palestine must be free of Jews.We Jews use to live with Arabs under threat and fear, while the Arabs in Israel can do whatever they want.
29. money talks
shushan mussa ,   lapland norwej   (09.14.11)
