that many of the anti-israeli campaigners are jewish. either of home nationality of israeli. in britain we have ilan pepe, or whatever, aided and abetted by jewish academics and that circle. to say that it is anti-semitic is quite disingenuous and causes problems for many jews. perhaps israelis want this to justify their existence to diaspora jewry. jews would not be in such high status positions in the universities, and that is high status in uk, if there was anti-semitism. the writer does not apply any class analysis to this phenomena at all. another one of his repeated prejudices and ignorances. thereby you will find that in uk a great many jewish israeli bashers are high class, academics and professionals, whereas the jewish working class, even jewish trade unionists (and there sure are some), is somewhat more circumspect.

It would sem that the only way to persuade Universities/ trade unions both sides of the Atlantic to take their responsibilities seriously towards providing jewish students/academics with a violence / oppression free student /working atmosphere, whether in Cal;ifornia, Ontario , St,. A., Canada, Mexico, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan. India almost certainly will sign a free trade agreement with Israel in the coming years. China has growing ties economic ties to Israel. China imports more military technology from Israel than any other nation. Boycotting Israel as proposed by university Israel rejectionists is like a dog chasing its own tail for amusement. I urge everyone currently donating to the A.E.L. to donate to the Israel Law Center instead. The Israel Law Center is in the forefront of fighting for Israeli and Jewish rights while the A.D.L. praises Obama and slams some of Israel's best friends such as Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck. The Israel Law Center was largely responsible for destroying the anti-Israel flotillas and now, it is busy defending the rights of Diaspora Jews to study in peace. There is absolutely no comparison of the worthiness of the two organizations. The Israel Law Center is infinitely more deserving of support.

It is wonderful to see Jews fighting back this way...personally, I have my own method. When I read or hear any anti-Semitism, I simply invite the offender to remove their Polio Vaccine.
