4. How do you like this?
Oleg ,   USA   (09.15.11)
"when there is no realistic chance of prosecution" - who is going to determine, if there is a realistic chance or not? The judge? Commission? Lords? Queen? or BBC, that is more likely? Or all those islamofascists, who have a warm Heaven in GB? So, the question is: can other countries officials be arrested and who makes a decision is it realistic to make charges or not?
5. For too long Islamic terrorists have made a mockery of
Harry Wright ,   UK   (09.15.11)
British law and worse yet, Britain had allowed this ridiculous situation to exist for too long. This is long overdue but at least it has been rectified. But that is not all. Britain needs to rectify laws that allow the harbouring of terrorists and all manner of criminal riffraff under the guise of "human rights". Those laws make Britain a garbage dump and compromise the security of the country.
6. Beep beep beep
Ber ,   Yahud   (09.15.11)
It would appear that Europe is showing some brain activity. Don't harvest the organs for Eurabia yet! I hope the UK bobbies have good running shoes. First not beaten to a bloody pulp to the sound of "hamas free free Palestine" wins! Still some lead left in the English pencil.
7. Why did the U.K. take so long to do this?
ex-frummie ,   johannesburg, S.A.   (09.15.11)

11. No British Prison Can Hold a Livni
Steve ,   Atlanta USA   (09.15.11)
The British did not have a prison that could hold her father and they don't have a prison that can hold his daugher.
12. What did the ammendment state YNet?
Israeli 2   (09.15.11)
“the UK remains committed to ensuring that those guilty of war crimes are brought to justice. ...put an end to requests for warrants where there is no realistic chance of prosecution." To an antisemite, Israelis commit war crimes all the time and there is always a good realistic chance to prosecute Israelis and Jews. So now the queen is a heroin?
13. Where were you in 1929 in Hebron when the British allowed
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.15.11)
arabs to slaughter the Jews and take their land? Still, thanks for this.
14. The use of arrest warrents as a politcal tool is wrong
Galutia ,   Selah   (09.15.11)
Glad to see it was nipped in the bud...its a slippery slope to stay away from....
15. If Britain wants its glory back, it will have to find a way
Rivkah   (09.15.11)
to give the Balfour Declaration lands to the Jews that were promised long ago by the League of Nations. That might enable the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Moses, David and Yeshua to lift Britain back up to its former glory. Look how Germany is prospering giving stipends to the holocaust survivors from the German treasury.
16. England has never been friend to Israel
David ,   USA   (09.15.11)
England is no friend to Israel and JEWS. Israel best friends in Europe is Czech republic, Dutch, Italy and Germany. England is far more hostile. But England is us Americans best friend in combat.
17. TG for a little understanding from the Queen
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (09.15.11)
18. British crimes
Bertram ,   London, UK   (09.15.11)
Yes - crimes against the Jewish people were committed by the British during the Mandate period. However, they pale into insignificance compared with the deportation of half a million Jews from Hungary to their deaths in the 1940s. Hungarian collaboration with the Nazis is not something to be ignored.
19. The Queen
Bertram ,   London, UK   (09.15.11)
This Act is long overdue so perhaps, now, the UK government can focus on real war criminals. (Just for the record, the Queen - of the UK, not just England - is required, constitutionally, to give assent to any bill passed by the British parliament.)
20. Welcome to the UK?
Joe ,   London UK   (09.15.11)
Dear Tsipi and all the other 'previously unwelcome' Israeli officials. If I were you, I would still stay away from this farcial country which is riddled with Anti Israel and by defacto, anti Jewish sentiments. The smiles and welcomes you would receive, but these same double faced UK officials will be stabbing you in the back. Unfortuntely this is the way it is here (and in most countries) but the UK knows how to 'play the game', best. You have much more work to do at home..so don't waste your time now that you haev been given the green light. There should never have been an issue with this nonsense, so just throw it back in their faces and tell them what they can now do with their new legislation! Shabbat Shalom to all!
21. #1 this is 2011, move on. They had the loop hole in the law
Moshe and Dana Elias   (09.15.11)
that our politicians can, but never would have been arrested as the loop hole was abused.. they change it, you're not happy, they don't change it, you're unhappy. You sound like an unhappy person..

23. German Govn't acknowledge the guilt for the Holocaust,
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.15.11)
when will Britain government acknowledge their guilt for Nakba ?
24. A PROMISE KEPT
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (09.15.11)
This only became possible because the British electorate rid itself of the anti-Israel New Labour Government.Had they still been in office there would have been more broken promises to deal with the situation, always frustrated by the objections of the likes of Jack Straw. Straw's replacement as Justice Minister,Kenneth Clarke understood the problem and got the Home Secretary to deal with it . Common sense has triumphed over Blairite cynicism. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
25. Time for Britain to prosecute Palestinian war criminals
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.15.11)
Here it is in black and white for the same British "human rights" activists to take action on: "Whether or not attacks actually result in civilian casualties, they are in violation of international law, which also prohibits attacks aimed at spreading terror among the civilian population. The patterns of attacks and statements by members and leaders of Palestinian groups also indicate that they have no qualms about launching attacks against civilians and that they in fact carry out such attacks intending to kill and injure Israeli civilians. Such attacks constitute war crimes." Amnesty International, 2009 --------- Yet we all know that the same people who went after the Israelis have no interest in human rights. They are simply Jew hating suckers for Palestinian propaganda. S'ok. The Pals will get theirs. Once they reach "nation" status we can send all of their leaders to the ICC, and then to lengthly jail terms.

Rebecca ,   Modiin   (09.15.11)
I never thought they'd actually do this, but they have. Thank you.
30. All animals are equal but some ,...
split ,   US   (09.15.11)
Because G. Britain have now an amendment preventing to issue arrest warrants against foreign officials, especially an IDF brass and Israeli politicians it doesn't mean that they're not guilty of war crimes,...
