Just because one is a member of ANY denomination, including the church of Rome, it does NOT make them a Christian. I'm not a member of that church nor want to be although I know there are some Christians to be found there as there are some Christians to be found in Protestant denominations. The Pope is not the head of the church, but Jesus Christ is for us. Some of the Popes from what I have read about their lives were NOT Christians, but Christians in name only as are many people Christian in name only. So when you rightly judge any action taken by this Pope, who I don' whether or not he really is a Christian, just remember the Pope does not speak for all Christians.
