1. I am afraid Bibi is going to talk to a "lampe" (as we say)
tom ,   tel aviv   (09.20.11)
2. Bibi is Pessimistic, But Abbas is Probing
Noah Lev ,   HollywoodCaUSA   (09.20.11)
First of all, ministers within the cabinet, must toe the govts (Bibi) line, or reveal weaknesses to Israel's enemies. This is an age old problem within Israel. The Pals see the protest movment, the irresponsiciloity oft the Chardi who like to throw stones at the police, the potential 5th column of Israeli Arabs, and the opposition which is goodat throwing darts..but has no viable solutions. (See Livni and Olmert), Haaretz). 500m Arabs are united..their goal, a Muslim Pals..Western and Eastern, one way or another, piece by peace. Years ago, a supv told me, you will be judged by your deeds and not words. The Arabs, if judged by deeds, fail, with a big "F". Nothing they have done since 48 shows they want to live in peace with the Jews. They dont want Jews, Judenrein is their goal. (hear Hamas/Hez/IslamicJihad and Iran). From this perspective, negotiating is simple. Israel cannot control 3m Arabs..nor take in 5m more, not even one. UN242 cannot be abrogated...secure borders agreed to by the parties. Like the Calif legislature, the Israelis and Arabs (Pals) are deadlocked...no progress in 20 years. We, in Calif have resorted to gimmicks while the roads go unpaved and schools deteriorate. Its possible there is no solution to the problems in the M.E. and Israel will be a garrison state for decades. I like the Allon Plan, allowing autonomyt to the territories with Israeli security on the borders. Jerusalem's East can be internationalized..with rule by both sides over the holy sites..The Wall by Israel, the Mounht, by the Pals., etc. Bibi may be overly pessimistic, but he sees events around him falling apart. The Arab Spring, may become the Hurricane summer, and we know what that means. The Arabs are probing, looking for weak spots.
3. Not very convincing.
Steve A. ,   Bay Area, USA   (09.20.11)
Netanyahu's government has snubbed Obama, even orchestrated those snubs to be more offensive. Bibi is like the little boy who cried wolf. Nobody believes he wants peace. It's time for leadership, not more bluster.
4. External factors leave 1 option: BIG ISRAEL

7. Only BIG ISRAEL can bring balance and freedom to ME.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (09.20.11)
8. Talking to the P.A. is criminally iresponsible.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.20.11)
Prior to Oslo, Israel's government embraced the true policy that talks with genocidal foes are dangerous. Israel refused to talk to terrorists. There is no good reason whatsoever for the policy reversal. Talking to the P.A. is criminally irresponsible and invariably leads to massive increases in terror against Israel. It leads to massive rocket attacks. Thousands of Israeli civilians have already paid with their lives and wellbeing for these despicable talks.
9. Israel Rights in International Law: option- BIG ISRAEL (end)
Am Yisrael Chai ,   NB, Canada   (09.20.11)
10. Thank you #8! Exactly so.

11. Chaim, Israel @ 8
¨Mike   (09.20.11)
Why does BiBi not show slides of what the Palestinians do to babies who get their throats slit by Palestinian thug kid murderers. Do your stuff BiBi before the UN can snub you - give the boys something like photographs of what the Pali thugs do to destroy decent human Israeli beings. Can't you show them the slides of the demise of an entire innocent family. Although it's too good for them, can't you give the Anwar kids a public hanging, although that is too good a death for them. Tell the thugs you are taking them to the circus for the day. Show them the noose and then let them drop!
12. #4, what is 'Big Israel' ? One state solution?
Joe ,   Philadelphia, PA   (09.20.11)
One state solution will be the reality of the situation when push comes to shove and all the dust settles. I would bet on it. Now if you are referring to the fantasy of the Greater Israel taking land in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, I do ask why? Other than the fact that it isn't realistic, what purpose would it serve? Most of that land is uninhabitable desert. If you take the coin map Arafat used to carry around, it matches nothing until you turn it on its side. Then it resembles an actual kingdom - Ammuru. Home of the Amorites/Aryans/Nephilim who were conquered and their land laid to waste. Maybe that's why it's a desert. Maybe the real Zionists aren't Jews.
13. War Is On The Horizon
D. Digger ,   St. Petersburg, U.S.   (09.20.11)
Mr. Netanyahu, it appears to me that the Psalm 83, Obadiah, and Isaiah 17 war is about to begin. What these chapters reveal is that Israel's enemies will be destroyed.
14. Netanyahu's scare tactics
Michael ,   Haifa   (09.20.11)
This is one of his more well known "spins"
15. Stand stong Bibi. We are with you.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (09.20.11)
16. Beware the aerosolized herpes virus!
seadod1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NJ   (09.20.11)
That attack will quarantine all of Israel and cause more damage than any concerted BDS program!

Must have been Barak and the cowards in the military
18. the biggest threat to IL is Ehud Barak
Rami   (09.21.11)
and the rest of the do-nothing clowns.
