31. Perry is 100% correct. Even Abbas admitted so.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.21.11)
Abbas freely admits it was Obama's hostile stance against Israel which encouraged him to seek recognition for Palestine at the U.N. There is no question that this sick charade at the U.N., like disastrous Obamacare and the devastated American economy; is an Obama fiasco. If America had a decent president with decent policies; it would never have occurred. Perry is 100% correct and even Abbas admitted so.
32. #4 Perry's been supporting Israel for 20 years!
Gershon   (09.21.11)
What Rick Perry has done for Israel could fill a book. Perry trained with Israeli pilots when he was a captain in the Air Force. When he was Texas Agricultural Commissioner, Perry founded the Texas-Israel Exchange. As governor, he founded the Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce. He received the Friend of Zion award from Prime Minister Olmert and later, the Defender of Jerusalem award. He has spoken out against Hamas terror and for Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state. He has more visits to Israel than any other candidate. A few months ago, Perry helped the Israeli law firm Shurat HaDin in stopping American-owned boats and companies from participating in the Gaza Flotilla to help Hamas.
33. Perry backs US Embassy in united Jerusalem
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (09.21.11)
The governor came out very strongly for a united Jerusalem under Israeli rule in the Q&A after his speech. See a 1:44 min. video "Rick Perry Supports Israel" on youtube dot com (IsraelNationalTV).

you have no knowledge of US history. Truman a Dem made it possible in 1948 at the UN. Reagan and Kissinger would not have re-supplied Yisrael in 1973 at a critical juncture had not Alexander Haig intervened. Clinton has been an honest broker and vilified Arafat for failing to agree to an incredibly fair compromise. under Obama US and Israel collaborate on defense, intelligence, technology. To the cynics it was this failure of republicans who held a bizzare neo-con ideology that Pollard saw the risks that had been created. The USS liberty eg was assisting Egypt! Don't be naive, do some research!
35. Rick Perry is a straight shooter!
Armand ,   Los Angeles USA   (09.21.11)
Perry is not afraid of calling a dog a dog. He is honest and sincere. His chances of being our next President are high. He is to be trusted when it comes to foreign policy and knows Good from Evil.

The naive left wing idealistic nonsense is by far the most dangerous notion in this world. The "family of humanity" has many bad people and can never be united.
37. Perry - another Republican with no plan
Mike ,   Mpls, USA   (09.21.11)
Yep, pretty easy to show up late and criticize what the other guy is doing. And what's his plan? Doesn't have one. I'll bet he can accomplish the same thing as the other Repubs though. Yep, that would be nothing. Friend of Israel? Now that's funny!
38. To #24: Re: Gov. Rick Perry
No Perry Fan ,   usa   (09.21.11)
"Rick Perry Rocks" is an opinion, not a fact. He only "rocks" when it comes to rhetoric about Israel. Here are some facts about Texas Governor Rick Perry: 1. ...has referred to Social Security as a "Ponzi Scheme;" 2. ...shouted "Yeah!" in response to question at a California debate about letting patients die if they fail to buy health insurance; 3. ...required mandatory HPV vaccinations for girls age 12 and older to attend public school after pharmaceutical giant Merck contributed $$ to his campaign; 4. ...has executed 234 death row inmates during his tenure as governor; 5. ...has been accused of cronyism by seeding the government with party loyalists; (source: Time Magazine Vol. 178, No. 12) Still want to vote for him?

Of course we all have a right to our opinions. However, thousands of years of human history attests to mine. What attests to yours? Some philisophical idealistic nonsense?
