As the #1 recipient of U.S. foreign aid he asked Israel to freeze settlements in order to jumpstart the peace process. He did not order Israel to do so. Other than the far right in America there is not another country in the world that agrees with this criticism of Obama. Not one. Obama, during a time millions of Americans have lost their jobs and homes has INCREASED aid to Israel. Military and intelligence cooperation between Israel and America is at its highest level ever. Obama has continued to protect Israel in the U.N. each and every time. Because Obama, as do billions of people on this planet, believe the Palestinians are being oppressed and deserve a State of their own, he is called an anti semite. If that is your definition of being an anti semite then your past five prime ministers are as well as the past two heads of the Mossad and the former head of the Shin Bet, as well as many generals in the IDF. If you had a prime minister who was interested in peace and not scare to death to act because of his fear of losing to Avigdor Lieberman you would not have all the problems Israel currently faces. A majority of the cabinet voted to apologize to Turkey but in fear of Lieberman, Netanyahu refused. Israel's relationship with Egypt is about to be permanently destroyed because Netanyahu continues to cower in fear over Lieberman. Obama may lose in 2012 and when that happens I hope the Israeli people are smart enough to realize that the day after that happens they will not be more secure nor will Egypt, Turkey, and the rest of the Arab world be any more accepting. A Republican President will not do anything to make your lives any better. He cannot give you more money or weapons than Obama did or protect you at the U.N. more than Obama did. Most importantly, he cannot and will not be able to protect you from the incompetence of your current leadership who stoke the flames of hatred of the Arab world against Israel while at the same time encourage the right wing settlers. A conflagration is coming and it won't be because of Obama but because of your leaders who, in their incompetence, are throwing kerosene on a brushfire they started. When it becomes a wildfire it can and will get of of control and when that happens innocent people on both sides are going to sadly pay the ultimate price.

I think #2 pretty well said all that needs to be said about this subject, so I won't add to it.
