I am no supporter of obama, not only b/c I care deeply about Israel but also the US. These comments are somewhat giddy. This man will be our president for another 15 months minimum. It wasn't just Rick Perry, though the guy has a great sense of timing, it's the hard work of many Americans, regardless of religion who know his beliefs are mistaken. Yesterday was a good day adn let's see where we go: will he backtrack? Not if we can help it.

I'll believe when I see it. Carter bottomed out with 45% Jewish support in 1980 and BHO is certainly as great a failure. Indeed a second BHO term would be an unmitigated disaster. Folks need to realize Israel is but one part of the overall foreign policy/national security cluelessness of this administration. The economy has been dreadful as well. Taxes and spending must be brought under control. From the liberals I talk to they are certainly disappointed at the failure of their rockstar but can't bring themselves to vote for a Republican. The bottom line is it depends on the nominee. A liberal Republican like Romney would certainly do better than the others, and I'd almost be willing to vote Romney over a conservative in the caucuses just for that reason. We'll see.

Not in the swing states with large quantities of electoral votes .... in those, Obama very much needs to be concerned about the Jewish vote.

Obama is not after Jewish American votes, but after their donations. Too few votes but take Democratic Jewish donors giving millions. UN speech shows Obama is disparate, loosing. I supported Obama, but will not vote for him. I do not believe him. He says one thing when he needs and does another when does not need anything. Second term of him would be really dangerous for the US and Israel. With Jewish American votes or money Obama is going to loose. Americans are fed up, tired and angry. So many problems. No money will help this time.

Obama could not fix much. He should let somebody else do work. He made the history as first African American president. Good enough. It is not Israel only. Many problems in the US. Democrats are really scared. They might loose Senate, Congress and white house. I do not think Obama is sympathetic to Israel, more to arabs, but he was pushed by fellow Democrats into this speech.

When the Kuwaiti's got back they killed and expelled 150,000 Palestinians for their treachery. Plus banned them from ever coming back for jobs.

Yes, the Brooklyn vote was a signal of displeasure, but no start of US Jews fundamentally turning away from liberal poltics & agenda. Do not exaggerate its impact. There has been no real widespread 'sea change' in Jewish preference. You & I both honestly know the Jewish community will throw its weight behind Obama for 2012.
