91. I USED to be a huge Livni supporter
Miki ,   Israel   (09.25.11)
I voted Kadima last election and told everyone how much I admired Livni because she put her money where her mouth was, unlike our other weasely politicians like Barak. While anyone looked good compared to Olmert, she seemed to put country ahead of personal gain. Since going into the Opposition she has proved again and again that is not the case. Lost respect. Lost my vote. Bibi's won it.
92. Netanyahu weakens Israel
Philip van den Berg ,   Launceston, Australi   (09.25.11)
What Tzipi Livni doesn't understand is that you cannot shake hands with a closed fist no matter how much diplomacy you use. Anti Semitism doesn't make sense, yet we see an Arab world and more and more the Western world heavily engaged with it. Come on Livni, would you risk the life of the State of Israel on empty promises? The lives of the citizens you want to represent are worth more than that.

Brod ,   USA   (09.25.11)
Livni is wrong. Netanyahu strengthens Israel. A strong PM strengthens Israel in the face of the Tsunanmi of dark forces that are hellbent on undermining and destroying Israel.

104. Livni is a Poor Excuse for a Leader
Dav Lev ,   Los Angeles,USA   (09.26.11)
If Livni had at least remedy to end the conflict, I would support her right under Israel's democracy to express her views. She should only however, give her perspective at home, not abroad. Israel has 60 parties, some in the govt. She can add her voice. But by throwing pot shots at Bibi, faulting hium for the impasse..she is only making the Pals more embolden. Its bad enough that Turkey is fueling the conflict...not to forget Iran (both at one time Israel's friends). The truth is, Bibi has for thepast few years changed his views of 2 states. He now openly approves..alberit with deserved reservations, considering thehistory of the region. Israel is tired of wars and conflict...and he leaders show it, wear iton their sleeves. She is a back seat driver..who had the wheel at one time..and is now just sitting, looking out the window. cmaking vague comments. Israel needs focused leadership..to combat the consistency of the Pals. They know what they want, Israel is unsure. .At the end of the day, if another Arab state is created, Israel will have to face the reality. Listening to Hamas/Hez/Islamic Jihad/Turkey/Iran...they will have a state..as a precursor to war..sitting in a much better position. Livni is a poor exampleof Israel's youngerleadershp..she should learn Israel's history and the tenacity of its first leaders.
105. No Tzipii--You Weaken Israel
Steve ,   Raaanana   (09.26.11)
Your constant harping about the PM< which to most Israelis seems far more based on your having been excluded than the reality of outrsituation is what weakens Israel.
106. Tzipi is worse for Jews in Israel and outside Israel
bob ,   London, Britain   (09.30.11)
Netanyahu is at least being clear about Judea and Samaria being the heart of the historic jewish homeland. Even though he is unfortunately willing to give chunks away. By Livni and others not even stressing that it's the historic jewish homeland, and feeling no connection to it, she if she had power, would be the biggest danger, because she makes Israel look like a thief, and creates such hatred towards Israel that wider society would be more inclined to supporting Hamas! By the way, Britain had a huge argument about her in parliament 'cos she was (stupidly) accused of War crimes. She won't help international relations. And when she heaps scorn on Netanyahu saying he doesn't want peace and isn't serious about peace. Others say Israel isn't serious about peace. And it's bad for Israel. Netanyahu is many miles ahead in terms of what Israel needs.
107. Vote Likud's Tzipi
Reuel   (01.17.13)
Tzipi Hotovely makes better sense than Tzipi Livni. Livni is too naïve to entertain the P who will drive Israel into the sea. Arafat as soon as he signed Oslo, spoke in Arabic, that he actually wanted to defeat Israel step by step. Oslo is just a stepping stone. The P does NOT want peace ever. So don't be fooled.
