1. My way or the highway !
Gabe ,   Canada   (09.24.11)
The tail must wag the dog according to Mahmoud Abbas. He is going to be in for a big surprise as his supporters will run out of patience with his antics.
2. Send quartet packing. Maybe Europe can use them.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.24.11)
The quartet is obviously worse than worthless for Israel. Send them packing. Most European nations are either bankrupt or on the verge of bankruptcy. And Europe is home base for both the E.U. and Russia. Perhaps the quartet can raise some money to bail out Europe. Maybe Europe can use them. Israel sure as heck can't.
3. What else can you expect from Russians!
Maurice ,   Montreal   (09.24.11)
They are just as hypocritical as the Turks. They can do away with the Chechens any way they want, but they won't agree that Israel has the right to protect the security of its citizens. Israel will always be the Jewish State whether these anisemites like it not!
4. Quartet can't play in tune:
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (09.25.11)
How then can they tell anyone what to do?
5. Only BIG ISRAEL can bring balance and freedom to ME.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (09.24.11)
6. If the Quartet have disputes
Arnold ,   Canada   (09.25.11)
what chance do the two adversaries have. Every country in the Middle East that is Islamic refers to itself as being an Islamic country. If the final state of Palestine wants to be recognized as an Islamic state that's okay. So why should Israel not be recognized as a Jewish state if it returns to the borders all the Islamic states want it to go to ? The reason is that they do not want Israel there whether it is going to be Jewish, Christian, Hindu, or secular. why is it that you people do not see it ?
7. another one bites the dust
A ,   Belgium   (09.24.11)
The quartet thought they could find a way t o negotiate peace between Israel and the "palestinians". They didn't know what they were getting into, but now its becoming obvious...there will never be peace until the "palestinians" return to their home in Jordan. And thats only if AbDULLah lets them. But he wont, because the "palestinians" are a threat to his paper kingdom. So with all the excitement at the United Nothing, what has been accomplished...Israel is still Israel, the "palestinians" have nothing, AbDULLah is crapping his royal shorts because he is afraid of the truth...millions of "palestinians" coming home, while his tribe of bedouins returns to Saudia, and Salma is looking for a cave to rent in Petra. Life goes on , BLAH!
8. quartet is a joke
usa   (09.25.11)
Us russia un and eu dont agree on anything between themselves even. sounds so stupid. Quartet. Haha. Russia is gonna tell israel what to do.
9. It would be funny if....
Steve ,   USA   (09.25.11)
..we were talking about the 'Arab League' and not so called civilized humans like ... well the Americans... . They can't even agree amongst themselves and yet they intend to shove something (that they can't agree on) down our throats anyway. I'm surprised they didn't mention 'settlements'. I'd of thought it would be way up there on their list along with Israeli mothers having to give up their 'first born' or something..
10. JORDAN IS PALESTINE
Terry ,   Tulsa USA   (09.25.11)
11. Wake up folks. Putin is playing Soviet Union games
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.25.11)
The goal of the Soviet Union was not world peace and stability, but world domination. The Soviets had a policy of actively screwing things up to make it bad for the west. Putin is reviving the policy and wants to be the new czar...or chairman of the politburo. Russia is quickly reverting to a one-party system, and Putin is showing that he is simply just another in a long line of power hungry Soviet dictators.
12. #5, Israelis don't have freedom in Israel.
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (09.25.11)
How are they suppose to bring freedom to the Middle East? Didn't you see Israelis in the streets protesting for justice last month? But I see you are talking from beautiful Netherlands. Wakeup, please!
