Apparently one of the reasons they keep him in isolation is that they think other prisoners will kill him. All reports indicate that Amir remains unrepentant. [ok you conspiracy lovers, remember that Amir continues to say he is proud of what he did, and has never said he didn't shoot Rabin] So let him go in with his fellow murderers...let's see how they treat him.

This amir man... he is where he should be after killing Israel's PM. However, he should NEVER be held back from praying. His prayers could be in repentance, and possibly are. I don't think he could do much damage where he is. Leave him to pray for as long s he likes. At some ti me or other we all do that and sometimes more fervently than at other times. Prison is certainly not being good to him. Unless he has always looked so ill, let him be or treat him by a good doctor. He looks terribly ill!

He should be isolated from the prison population til the day he dies.
