1. chasidim?
chaim witz ,   ecuador   (09.30.11)
To me it sounds these people are from the russion mafia rather than religious jews.

3. DO AS OTHER ARILINES DO
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (09.30.11)
Blalcklist them, if they smoke when theyr'e going, let them return by walking or swimming I HATE SMOKERS!! It's a filthy habit I gave up years ago, after my wife removed my clothing from the closet and put it a separate closet I do have an alternate means for them to enjoy the smoke, place a plastic bag over the head, tiie it at the bottom, then they can enjoy all the fumes themselves
4. embarassing...

5. What are these people? Animals?
Jon ,   Toronto   (09.30.11)
"protect the plane's property and avoid damaging or destroying it,"
6. Hilarious
Brian ,   Los Angeles USA   (09.30.11)
Israelis are hilarious. This reads like something out of a movie.
7. Deal with problems
The Last Zionist ,   Eilat   (09.30.11)
If there are problems let the police at the destination deal with them
8. These people irritate me ! They belong to Afghanistan !
Julien ,   Liverpool, UK   (09.30.11)
9. Neanderthals?
Richard   (09.30.11)
sounds like the flight from hell- dressing like 18th cent peasants is one thing, but behaving like them is another.
10. I taught for awhile in prison and the
jason white ,   afula, israel   (09.30.11)
prisoners were better than these hassidim. What an insult to the memory of Rabbi Nachman, ztl!
11. 4 - embarassing...

No kiddin' - Those freaks are your ambassadors to Ukraine :) ,...
12. There's a simple solution
NYC Girl   (09.30.11)
El Al didn't have this problem for all those years when they flew on the Sabbath. The Hasidim would avoid the airline altogether, so they didn't have to deal with this kind of nonsense. Anyway, it doesn't make sense for El Al not to operate on what's probably one of the busiest days of the week for airline travel. After all, they did it for a long time...and the earth didn't fall off its axis.
13. Ukrainians
(10.01.11)
I hope they get enough money from these pilgrims to make it worth putting up with their rude behaviour. I hope their behaviour is not typical of all Israelis who travel overseas.
14. What Has Your Religion Wrought?
World Citizen ,   the world   (09.30.11)
If these men are the pillars of Jewish religious society then they are a sad reflection on Israeli culture and Judaism. It not like they are hiding their bad behavior. It seems that they flaunt it because they are haradim. I would hate having one of these people as my next door neighbour.
15. #8 Julien, when was the last time
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (09.30.11)
that you flew El Al ? Better you should concentrate your irritations of the riots you have at home I guess your preference would be if the Hassidim were replaced by Arab Hijackers, prepared to steal the plane and kill everyone on board
16. Fly them to Uman
Elad Lending ,   Yahel, Israel   (10.01.11)
and leave them there.
17. El Al
Debbie ,   Israel   (09.30.11)
Having flown countless times on El Al and many other airlines, I can verify that the worst flights are those which include religious Jews. They stay up all night, leave the ilghts on, speak loudly while others are trying to sleep, make no attempt to quiet their screaming children, push up and down the aisles at all hours of the night, disturbing passengers trying to get a little sleep, incessantly open and slam shut the overhead compartments, endlessly taking out and putting back equipment and practically falling on top of me, onto my seat, caring not whether others are trying to rest, refusing to sit down when the crew is coming down the aisle with carts, or when the captain announces that everyone must put a seat belt. I shudder to think what would be if there were actually an emergency, and they refuse to follow instructions. I do everything to avoid these flights, which I believe are usually on Thursday in order to get back before Shabbat. I've never had a restful pleasant flight, when religious were on it. This has been my experience, and I'm happy to hear if others have had better luck.
18. ynet im sorry to say but..
Ester   (10.01.11)
i dont think this is a nice thing from u.. i mean im used to anti hasidim articles but thats too much.. my man is in uman right now and he travels with el al... ur talking about them as animals im really disappointed...
19. "The ChasiZohan" new movie next fall
dudu ,   Colombia   (10.01.11)
A new movie, showing the elements described in this article, soon to be a MASSIVE SUCCESS in antijudaism fashion of the media.
20. This article is anti-semitic
Edward ,   Sydney, Australia   (10.01.11)
The people criticised in the article happen to be Jewish. That makes it an anti-semitic article. Let's demand an apology to all Jewry for these lies.
21. Hassidim vs. El Al
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (10.01.11)
Punish them with fines, etc. individually or even better, collectively. If they are the way to Uman, turn back and refuse to fly them.
22. I stopped flying ELAL
Dan ,   R"G   (10.01.11)
I long ago stopped flying EL-AL and prefer to fly on the sabbath just to avoid the ultra religious. If there is a reason to fly on the Sabbath - they are the reason.
23. I avoid EL AL
Sagi   (10.01.11)
just like I avoid the plague. The reason is one and one only, HAREDIM. I will actually go out of my way and travel to a hub on a connecting flight and pay more if I have to in order to get to my destination. It is so unpleasant to be in a confined space with these strange people for a few hours, They are so self centered and inconsiderate and always in basic violation of common decency. "Do unto others----" is summed up in "derech eretz", something which they should have but have not.
24. #14
(10.01.11)
If you knew anything about Israel, you would know these people are the total antithesis of Israeli culture. In fact, they're more like some sort of alien transplant.
25. #17 El Al - Debbie
jo moor   (10.01.11)
I must agree with you. First thoughts of seeing pelvic tilting in aisle at the back was ? pilates class or humping class. behaviour and self discipline begins at home. They are hijacking religion for their scandelous behaviour. Sounds like another religion I have recently heard of!!
26. #20 Lies??
jo moor   (10.01.11)
Are they really lies? Do you really want people who behave like that to be counted as "one of your own". Pride out the window?
27. El Al
Debbie ,   Israel   (10.01.11)
It seems to me that damaging airplane property would fall in the category of a federal crime. I don't know why El Al is so tolerant of this behavior. It's downright dangerous on a flight, should there be an actual emergency situation.
28. ELAL superb service.
Duduh   (10.01.11)
People comments on El AL are non true. Good Service, polite and caring flitgh attendants. What else you need? IMPECABLE ON AIR RECORD
29. Nice anti Jewish article
Ber ,   Yahud   (10.01.11)
If I was haredi and saw how ynet bashes Haredim like me, I wouldn't mind being as rude as can be to the outside world!
30. #20
shlomo   (10.01.11)
So anything anti-jew is anti-semetic?? Grow up! And get out of my city!!
