Before 1947 there was no such thing as "Palestinians" who were Arabs - all the "Palestinians" were Jews. Arabs were just Arabs. And here, Emily, is the sore point that shows how racist the Palestinians and their supporters are: If the statement "Palestine is the national homeland of the Palestinian people" is valid, then the statement "Israel is the national homeland of the Jewish people" is equally valid. However, the Arabs who now call themselves "Palestinians" reject this, and have even declared that their Palestinian state will be apartheid, with Jews banned from living there.
