Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (10.05.11)
moreover, should be more locally focused, jews and arab students from the Galilee should have such activities year round
4. to #2: the exact opposite
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (10.05.11)
We Israeli-Arabs and Israeli-Jews are destined to live together in this wonderful country called Israel. It is very important to break stereotypes and create a fertile environment for coexistence
5. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.05.11)
I note for the record that Jews and Christians in Israel do not have a history of difficulty. I also recall that the only country that came to the rescue of the Lebanese Christians when they were being massacred by Moslems was Israel. I would, however, ask you: where are the Moslem Arab youth? Is their decision not to participate representative of Arabs, generally, or merely of Moslems?
6. To Rami

I agree and support you/your stance.

Not sure where you read that Muslims decided not to participate!! Even though St. Joseph is a prestigious Christian institution in Nazareth, the student body does include Muslim students, i'm sure the St. Joseph representatives included muslims as well. Once again we the 2% christians in Israel paly an important bridge between the jews and muslims of Israel.
8. Feel good story but...
sophie ,   nl   (10.06.11)
Don't want to be negative, but it's pretty useless.
9. Bravo
Phil ,   Europe   (10.06.11)
Excellent. Only by bridging can both Israelis and Palestinians prosper in their respective states. This is an awesome event. I am sure vast majority of Israelis and Palestinians want this deep in their hearts. It is a shame to view the negative commentators for such an event (they continue to bark even for a nice event..).
10. The town of Tirah shows Arab-Jewish goodwill every week
Edward ,   Sydney, Australia   (10.07.11)
The Arab food stores are popular with Jewish residents who drive from the Sharon. The owners and regular customers get along on a friendly basis every week. I've even had Arab storeowners generously give free extras for no reason other than goodwill.
11. a successful dialogue project between Arabs and Israeli teen
Bertram ,   London, UK   (10.10.11)
A Freudian slip here? Surely a project involving Israeli Arab and Jewish teenagers.

sorry to disappoint you - but we are worlds apart. the best we can hope for is to be able to tolerate one another.
15. Moslems
Debora ,   Jerusalem Israel   (10.16.11)
While the school in Nazareth is Christian affiliated the majority of the students are Moslem -- and so many of the kids participating in the project were Moslem
