31. Erdogan and Israel Nukes
Orly ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (10.05.11)
Erdogan has lost all proportion. He is completely mad and has to be interned. From the moment he wakes up to the time he goes to sleep, all he thinks is Israel, and how to harm it. The world has had enough of him, so are the Turks, As put in nr. 9 and 10, by someone who understands Turkey well, his days are counted. But he could also die from a heart attack, due to his limitless anger, that is more propable. He is even angrier with the Nobel Price just announced for an Israeli. He must have exploded.
32. Turkish PM: Israel a nuclear threat
A ,   Belgium   (10.05.11)
Erdogan is a threat to humanity and modern civilization.
33. #11 - he's just one man...
William ,   Israel   (10.05.11)
and the Israeli govt is both stable and whatever nukes exist (if any) are controlled by different parties ensuring the collective eye on each other. That's why no one has an issue with a nuclear Israel - well, except those who see it as an obstacle to destroy Israel. Many leaders in Iran both threatened to annihilate Israel, destroy cities with rocket salvos, threatened European cities, and justified a nuclear Iran with threats of nuclear rockets on its enemies. Turkey did the same thing. So did Iraq, so did Hizbullah, so did Assad (just recently).... Does that make every single one of these States and their leaders a major threat that needs to be taken out now? Your side claims they are just empty threats, and the West has no right to address it. Yet, one Israeli says something about nuking Gaza and you demand a global reaction as "Israel is now a threat". The world knows Israel isn't a threat - else you'd already be a pile of cinders as a result of your own war crimes against Israel.
34. #16 - what the Arabs and Erdogan are basically saying is...
William ,   Israel   (10.05.11)
World, help us to remove the so-called nuclear threat from Israel so we will be less impeded when trying to destroy her again as we've tried for the past many decades. That's all. It's the same thing Arabs and Leftists are trying to do diplomatically and through boycotts - to weaken Israel, to weaken its army, and to tie its hands with the restraint of "human rights" which its attackers will not have to adhere to. They are doing the same to the US and NATO incidentally. These are people who wouldn't mind to sacrifice 80% of their own populations if it meant an end to Israel, so claiming Arabs will die in a horrible war will not deter them. Remember - they insist they welcome and admire death.
35. Erdogan's mouth is a nuclear threat
Justin ,   Canada   (10.05.11)
Motor mouth has us at DEFCON 3! He must be dead tired with him running his mouth so much.
36. To: Ypip at No. 7
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.05.11)
The karaoke bar is better than this! More entertaining and almost as amusing. Turkey needs to seriously watch its step. Israel is a force with which to be contended .... Turkey is a bunch of incompetent fools. They keep proving it -- over and over again. Of course, Turkey is now the puppy dog of Iran .... could there be a different outcome?
37. To: Lawrence at No. 8
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.05.11)
... and those who do intend harm to Israel have a great deal to fear.
38. is difficult for jewish
ale ,   italia   (10.05.11)

39. Isolation according to Panetta
Phil ,   USA   (10.05.11)
According to Panetta, the toady for Obama and Hillary Clinton, Israel is to blame for the "isolation" and deteriorating relationships with Turkey and Egypt. As far as Egypt goes, the relationship was never a warm one. However, Mubarek, a friend of the USand a man who tried to enforce many of the points in the peace treaty, was betrayed by the US. Consequences for this betrayal were explained by Gen. Jim Jones, a former white house security advisor. He said that the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia are very wary of the dependability of the Obama administration. with Mubarek gone and the muslim brotherhood a prime player, Israel was sure to be a scapegoat. It wasn't Israel that trashed the Egyptian embassy while its police sttod around and did not respond. Turkey has an Islamist govt and Erdogan has always been a thug and an enemy of Israel. Look at his threats against Greek Cypriots and Greece and even Syria. Panetta wanted Israel to apologize for defending itself against Terrorists attempting to break a legal arms blockade of Hamas-led Gaza. Israel's isolation is due to its behaviorof defending itself. Apparently, Panetta wants Israel to give up.
40. Can #11 you are wrong
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (10.05.11)
1. Israel can not nuke Gaza. That would mean suicide for Israel since a nuke to Gaza will kill more Israelis then Arabs and make Israel unlivable. 2. Turkey killed and forced to exile more civilians without any nuclear weapons. During the last 20 years thousand of (approximately 20 thousand or more) Kurts were killed and over a thousand Kurdish villages destroyed. Read Guneri Civaoglu in Milliyet today "Ozal'in Kurt Formulu". 3. Your PM Erdogan is a real danger to peace as well as to Turkey with his daily threats against i Israel and Cyprus. Kasimpasalilik, kabadayilik that many Turks are proud of is not peaceful behavior
41. Ale Italia #38
David Isarel ,   New York, USA   (10.05.11)
My family comes from the Island of Rhodes which once was controlled by Italy. Then came Benito Mussolini who passed the infamous racial laws. You may remember from your recent history the time when a few righteous Italian officers burned themselves against these laws. At that time Rhodes governor Del Vechio oppressed the Jewish population in Rhodes making life miserable (Read: Heskiah Franco's memories). You know very well who killed whom in WW II and Italy was on the side of the murderers at that time. Also; during the years of Inquisition Italy also oppress Jews.
42. Israel is a nuclear threat to region
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (10.05.11)
Absolutely. You can't expect anything else when you, Assad, Ahmadenejad, Hamas, Abu Mazen, Hizbullah, all want to wipe Israel off the map.? Look in the mirror, and repeat what you said; you have lost your reason if you ever had it.
43. Watch out Israel
Armand ,   Los Angeles, USA   (10.05.11)
This ErredDOGgame guy is going to do something very irrational by desperation. He will be well supported by KAKAmenaJIHAD, NASSERallah, and the A$$eHEAD,...you guys know this peace loving group. They will start by Boycotting the ceremonies of the Nobel Prizes (4 Jews so far....and counting),...Ah what a pity the party will not be the same. However TURKISH, IRANIAN, SYRIAN, LEBANESE, SAUDIS etc... scientists are busy perfecting their ''secret lethal'' arm,...''a WATERMELON CATAPULT that reaches far and even farther....)
44. ISRAEL NEVER SAID IT HAD NOR SHE
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (10.05.11)
EVER DENIREDTHAT IT HAD NUCLEAR WEAPONS. Why does this full assume she does? Liberman was correct. His stupid rants are actually serving Israeli interest. Bibi was also correct to keep quiet & not get into useless verbage with him. AM ISRAEL CHAI
45. #38!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! You crack me up!!
Israeli 2   (10.05.11)
What are you saying?
46. #20 Michaelp.
Poco Loco   (10.05.11)
Michelp. you are an ignorant man. In the fifteen century the Turkish nation with unparalleled generosity opened their home to the Jews fleeing the Spanish inquisition. Jews enjoyed brotherhood status in Turkey and flourished... and still do. This will never, never be forgotten by us no matter what . Turks will always have a soft spot and respect in our hearts. The Jew -Turk co-existence endured the test of time (about 600 years) and will certainly not be dented by the shenanigans of a callous politician. Israel may never use its nuclear prowess and specially not against the Turkish nation.
47. keep going
Adam ,   istanbul   (10.05.11)
we are with you, RTE just sayin what nobody can say. you are the troublemaker in region and you gonna pay for it. we count for a pay-back soon..

49. DO NOT SIMPLY DISMISS ERDOGAN AS CRAZY
David ,   NJUSA   (10.05.11)
He is very dangerous and provocative. The Turks have always been trouble. Israel should prepare and not be caught flatfooted like Gantz and Barak were with Egypt. Keep him at bay with a strong Navy, no more paintballs. Protect your gas deposits. Israel is not isolated, isolated is dying in a concentration camp. Don't be afraid to love yourselves, you are the roots of western civilization. The hardest part was the creation of Israel in 1948, remember how far you've come!!!
50. # Ali from Italy

NATO do you really need this loon
52. Can- Istanbul
Arnold ,   Canada   (10.05.11)
There is no nuclear device around that can be used in an isolated area which will not also contaminate the area close by. Gaza, Israel/West Bank are literally in each others bedrooms. Secondly Lieberman's referring to nuking Gaza was in the sense of hitting them hard with traditional weapons.
53. To#12
