Israel doesn't have very many F15's. They could have ejected.

An F15 pilot made an emergency landing because of a bird strike is nothing compared to what an IAF F15 pilot did in 2009. In 2009 an F15 & a Skyhawk collided and the wing of the F15 was sheared off and the pilot chose not to eject but to try and land the plane with just one wing, which he did safely. The IAF asked McDonald Douglas about the possibility of landing with only one wing and their reply was it was physically impossible to do. They got quite a shock when the plane was returned to them to be repaired and they realised the impossible had been made possible. . Its a good thing that the pilot who landed his plane today after the bird strike did so successfully and safely but when you think about landing with one wing it kind of dwarfs it in comparison.

It also shows us that with the God of Israel anything is possible. The enemies of Israel should keep that in mind before they mess with Israel. Unfortunately they almost never seem to learn. They have to learn the hard way.
