Labor are also overtaking both Likud & Kadima in the polls as a result of the protests and I imagine Bibi is also scared the coalition will soon colapse and he needs a big prize if he wants people to reelect him so he is doing the deal that he previously rejected. How many killers are going to be released for Bibi's election bribe? How many more Gilad's will there be in future because the arabs think the risks of snatching somebody are worth taking if they can get a pay off of 1200+ if they can get just 1 man. Time for Likud to vote for a new leader because Bibi can't be trusted.

What a fantastic deal. Hamas has pulled off. Once these prisoners are released, Hamas shall begin on phase two - kidnapping more Israeli soldiers. Then there will be another round of negotiations, but this time for the "bigwig" prisoners. The funny thing is the Israeli politicians are totally at the mercy of Hamas.
