1. Not in my neighborhood!
Jerusalemite ,   Israel   (10.15.11)
In our Jerusalem neighborhood (which is still a mixed - religious and secular one) we have the religious edging in with their illegal permanent structure. They start out as succah's in the fall and then remain as permanent year round structures! And the municipality of Jerusalem looks the other way as they had the owners of these illegal structures municipal tax bills for them. In other words succahs are just another excuse for illegal building in Jewish West Jerusalem!
2. Credit where credit is due!
Moadim l'simcha!   (10.15.11)
No mention of the initiator and the driving force behinf the trns of thousands of sukkas - mobile and not, the world over. Tzach (Chabad Youth) and Chassidim the world over are the hands and feet of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, carrying out annually his request that no Jew should miss the opportunity to make the brocho on the 4 kinds and make a blessing in a sukka.
