4. arab said: need more Shalits for 5000 more prisoners!
mary of Bethany ,   singapore   (10.18.11)
"I feel so happy. It's really good but I think that straight away there will be two or three more Schalits," said Muhammed Isawiyeh, a distant relative of Ahaled Ahmed Muahatsi, from Issawiya. "There are still 5000 Palestinian prisoners in jail." so if after released all 5000 prisoners, Hamas demand East Jerusalem and FULL RETURN OF ALL REFUGEES, will you compromise?
5. More proof there should never be a country "Palestine"
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (10.18.11)
Hamas is recognized as a terrorist organization. Dozens of the "prisoners" released today are convicted murderers - many of them convicted of mass murder. In the west bank, the Palestinians refuse to hold elections, fearing a Fatah defeat to Hamas. "Palestine" is nothing more than a two-headed Arab dictatorship that relies on western tax money to survive. Palestinian leaders offer no solutions other than "armed struggle" to "liberate all of Palestine". Why does the world need another impoverished dictatorship that espouses terrorism and spits in the face of international law and order? It doesn't. Some of the west bank should go back to what it was - Jordan. Other parts will stay as Israel. Gaza will become Gazastan or Hamastan - it doesn't matter. Israel will build a big wall with a minefield, and let Egypt handle it. Any weapons fired over the wall will be considered an act of war.
6. to all freed murderers and scum of the earth
meghan ,   israel   (10.18.11)
keep looking over your shoulders, check your transport, your door locks, who walks behind you and look to the sky. I do believe Big Brother will be watching you and if you think you now have freedom, you may have to think again. Remember you have not just killed Israel Jews, many others have open accounts on you. And remember your day will come and you can become a martyr and really find out re those virgins!!! Do have a nice life...NOT!!!
7. Why did Hamas starve Shalit?
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (10.18.11)
Looking at the tv pictures it is clear that Shalit is emaciated and weak. Hamas prisoners in Israeli jails are well fed and get exercise and sunlight - as required by international law. It is clear that Hamas abused Shalit - starving him and rendering him weak. Will the pro-Palestinian community of excuse makers do something about this, or will they ignore it like they do all Hamas war crimes?
8. No reason to hold back, now.
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (10.18.11)
Now that Gilad Shalit is free,it's time to issue some arrest warrants.EVERYONE involved in the kidnapping should be on a most wanted list, including accessories such as the Hamas so-called negotiators who are blackmailers and extortionists, pure and simple. That includes Ismail Haniyeh and ESPECIALLY Mahmoud Al-Zahar. As far as I'm aware, kidnapping and accessory to kidnapping are serious criminal offences in civilised countries. Not,apparently,in Egypt, though.Egypt's government has played a filthy game and took on the role of Hamas's allies and protectors. The only comfort I get from this is that those directly responsible for the kidnapping know that they'll have to look over their shoulders for the rest of their lives. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
9. Proof "Palestinians" are insanely violent and arrogant
William ,   Israel   (10.18.11)
Despite getting a release of criminals back to the West Bank, "Palestinians" are unhappy with where they were released in the West Bank and respond with violence. Proof that these people are so arrogant they can't be happy for anything in their lives. Pretty much the reason why nothing good ever comes to them...that, and the fact that they're inherently racist terrorists. The IDF should have responded by arresting them all as a sign to "Palestinians" - don't get too comfortable.
10. #7 - Israel should threaten to take PA/Hamas to ICJ
William ,   Israel   (10.18.11)
It's obvious how badly Shalit was treated, which is why Hamas wouldn't make the video of his detention public at the last minute. Israel needs to show the world how disgusting the "Palestinians" really are, and why they don't deserve a State...well, not here at least.
11. TERRORISTS
Hodaya ,   Israel   (10.18.11)
And they make a party....Israel needs death penalty now and then review all the 5000 muslim cases that they still have in prison.
12. Peace with these dirtbags is impossible
Mark Klein, MD ,   California   (10.18.11)
13. #8-I agree. Also:
Ypip ,   Canada   (10.19.11)
Israel does everything possible to keep and get its citizens out of enemy hands. Fine; it's what decent societies do. But how steep does it, or is willing to go? The other side is already making plans for the next abduction. Dangerous terrorists are not run-of-the-mill criminals or conventional prisoners of war. It would be far better for Israel and the West in general, for those terrorists caught alive no longer had the opportunity to wait for their "brothers" to kidnap more innocents on their behalf.
